Yea!! I've never seen anyone from the DIS at DW. Maybe we'll run into each other. I've heard excellent reviews from friends that have been to Ohana's for dinner. I'm really excited to try it out.

Same here! I'll have an "alien green" mickey on me somewhere, so if you spot it don't be afraid to speak up The last time I was at O'hana's it was awesome...especially the shrimp, and I'm not a big shrimp eater.

All are sceduled in the 6ish time frame except for H&V is a little earlier due to fantasmic.

I tried to make my choices based on fun factor, and something for everyone in the family, and based on comments in this thread.
Any thoughts?

5/25 chef mickey's dinner (not crazy about the food, but I wanted the kids to have some character interaction on our first day....we do not have park passes the first day. I'm open to suggestions!!)

we will be there at 8:05! It's our "resort day" so we will just be hanging by the pool for the rest of the day.... 5 months seems so far away!!!

We are also surprising our kids with our May trip on Christmas morning!! I am so excited about it, but I'm still thinking of how we are going to do it...got any good ideas to share??

Got all my ADR's I wanted. Yay!!! Here they are:

5/17- Check in, head to DTD, late dinner. OOP at Fulton's crab house or TREX.
5/18- MK Dinner at Ohana's
5/19- Epcot (FUture WOrld) Dinner at Garden Grill
5/20- AK with a late dinner (7:30) at Whispering Canyon
5/21- Hopefully a Star Wars weekend. Day at HS with lunch at Sci-fi
5/22- Plan is to sleep in a bit and have breakfast at Chef Mickey's at 9:30. I could reall do without this one, but this is the one thing my boys insisted upon. Funny. Hit the world showcase at opening with a late lunch at LeCellier @3.
5/23 This is a waterpark day. I didn't make and ADR's for this day. In the past I always cancelled because we were plumb wore out and water logged. I'm figuring on the food court back at the resort (ASmu)
5/24 HS Dinner at Prime time. This is always a must.
5/25 MK Dinner at LTT. We ALWAYS end our trip here for some reason... I don't know why. Weird!
5/26 Check out... Possibly more time at a waterpark...

our plan is to surprise our kids with this trip too! we really want to try to wait til the day we leave, but i am soo bad at keeping secrets i don't think i'll make it!!

dh wants to get them in the car as if they are going to school, but instead we just head to the airport! i was thinking about maybe making it so they wake up that morning and have a little "mickey head" trail to follow (using the home depot paint samples) that will lead them to a bag of gear and then tell them that way.

either way we have some time still to plan and think of new ideas....IF i can hold it in!!

Keeping a secret is SO HARD.. What I did to cover my butt was tell the kids we were going in 2 years so if I slipped about something I would say well in 2 years when we go..... That worked. I actually pulled it off. My ds13 told me I would never be able to pull off a suprise like that again.. So this time I'm gonna send the kids to school for half a day and pull them out from there. Issue me a challenge and you know i'm gonna take it..
