I just paid off my trip!!!

It's getting really close now all you Mayers.

I started pulling summer clothes out of storage. I can start packing now because we wont need them until we get back anyway.

I ordered gift cards for the kids to use at WDW. The Disneyland website has a great selection of gift cards and I was able to get different designs for everyone.

LOL.. I never thought of that. I guess we could start packing since we're sure as heck not using our summer clothes now!! It's a whopping 43 degrees here!

I wish I could... I have the luggage out and can't pack yet. Unless I go buy new clothes. The weather is so crazzzy here. We need sweaters and pants one day and tanks and shorts the next. I won't be able to pack until the week of... . I just need to figure out if we have everything.

I guess I could pack - won't need my shorts here cuz we're getting a blooming blizzard this weekend! Who is in charge of this weather? Whoever it is is falling down on the job!
Seriously, look at my ticker, we are down to 50 days, yes, count them, 50 days!!!!! (1 month + 2 weeks + 6 days = 50 days) and that is total days. Work only days is 34 (taking off tomorrow) and 34 sounds sooooo much better than 50 doesn't it?

I soooo feel the same way!! It can't come soon enough!! I finally broke down and started packing, the way the weather has been lately, I don't think I'll be using many of my summer clothes before I go!!

I started packing too. Almost everything is packed except DH's clothes! Looks like almost everything will fit in the one giant suitcase too!

I am going to start packing next week also at least for the boys. I got to pull down the boxes of shorts/t-shirts. Well I will pack that for the kiddos and thow their undies in our bag at the last minute. I have been putting travel toiletries and plane goodies into bags for a while now.

Got to e-mail the teachers next week and let them know the dates we will be gone. Since it's a surprise I have to make sure they realized that and work out getting work for them to do while we are gone.

Those that have been in May before what is the weather like? Should I pack a light jacket for nights? How about rain?

thanks! The older 2 when but they were little like under 1 and 2 1/2 so I can't really count that plus it was just one day at MK. DS and I went before kids so that was a long time ago. I consider this our "first trip" and my parents are going also and outside of the one day at MK they have not been since the early 80's so they only saw 2 parks. It might as well be another "first" for them.

I got Disney Dollars at the Disney store last night. I also bought some ink pens, note pans, Disney Pez, beach towels, and tee shirts. I have a DS so I stayed with "boy stuff" but of course there is plenty of "girl stuff" too......

We (Me, DH, DD 9) will be at the Wilderness Lodge May 1 - 9! We are too excited. First trip just the three of us since 2005 and celebrating our 15th Wedding Anniversary.

We're expecting between 6-10 inches of snow tonight into tomorrow morning...
our trip is only 39 days away, yay!

I've been trying for an Ohana reservation and nothing was open before 9:30 our entire trip. I am going to keep trying though, you never know! It's the only reservation I wanted that I wasn't able to get, and we didn't start booking ADRs until 50 days out so I was pretty pleased.

Keep trying on Ohana. The earliest we could get for the first 10 days in May was 9:45, but when I called back to make some other changes, a 6:10pm opened up on 5/2. GRAB!

We just got confirmation that our final payment was received for our trip May 10-16!! We're staying at CBR in a Pirate Standard View room, with the DxDP and parkhopper passes. This is our first trip so I wanted it to be "all inclusive" and stress free Once we have one trip under our belt, we can look for savings, but I blew the stash on this one! I so hope it's as magical as I've heard! We've been promising the this trip for 4 years and it will be her birthday on our last day there. We're so excited!!

Count us in with the May crowd. We are traveling with my parents and will be staying at POP on May 23 and then moving to BCV for May 24-29. We can't wait! Hopefully the crowds will not be as bad as some are predicting and the weather will be nice.

Oh my gosh..still getting snow?? Actually I'm surprised we have not had much more here but it is supposed to be in the 50's the next few days here in NH so hopefully the snow is over for now.

Oh yes we have snow!! Cold too!!! Buying spring clothes to wear there!!! Glad your area is moving towards spring!!!!
