Official May 2009 Thread....The wait is on!!

We paid our trip off yesterday!!!!! Today we had a snow storm!!! BRR!!!!!!!! Lots of snow today no school!!!!!!!!!!!! To Disney we go!

Oh my gosh..still getting snow?? Actually I'm surprised we have not had much more here but it is supposed to be in the 50's the next few days here in NH so hopefully the snow is over for now.

I just paid for our May trip in full...we will be at the Beach Club from May 12th - 22nd.

I am so excited - my 6 yr old can not stop talking about Disney - he tells everyone he sees about his trip.

I hope time goes by fast - we need this vacation!

The BC-I'm so jealous. I cannot wait to stay there!! My DH & I have a trip planned for next May (2010) for our 25th Anniv. & staying at the Beach Club!!
Have a wonderful time & please post on the resort thread when you get back & let me know how you liked it.

We will be there May 13-17. Staying offsite at the in-laws, but they live a block from Disney!!
We are going with my BFF and her husband and little boy. They have been to DL, but never WDW so I'm so eager to show them the magic of the World!

I got Mickey Mail today!! It's my ME tags and info. Yeah!! We had to get a "extension" to finish our payment so it's not paid off but will be in one week. Hurry hurry!!

Question. I booked 2 room but Dad has been paying on one. The mickey mail I got today was just had the tags/name for my room. Do you think Dad will get the paperwork for the room he was paying on? His name is on that room.

So excited - I just made the final payment today!!!! We'll be there May 16th - 23rd, it will be me, my sister and her boyfriend.

I really wanted to stay at one of the deluxe resorts but I just can't justify the extra $600 or so to upgrade from POFQ. Oh well, at least we are trying something different this year, we've stayed at POR, CSR and Shades of Green in the past. I've loved all but CSR, neither of us really liked it there.

Now I just have to figure out a way to get the impossible O'Hana reservation that I've been trying for.

Ohhhh looks like Disney Packets are starting to come for some of you? Hopefully ours comes soon.

Everytime I do laundry I steal a pair of the kids underwear and pack it away. They seriously have no idea this is happening. They're both going to be so surprised. DS will turn 7 the day before we leave The World. I just hope neither of the kids decide they need to look in the luggage that's in my Laundry room!

We just called last night and were able to get a choice of several nights and times May 17-24. Ended up taking the May 21 at 650. Keep trying!!

You will hit it off with our daughter. She will turn 31 while we are there. We are in our 50s but don't tell anyone! We still think we are ? well, whatever age we feel that day! My DH will be the one carrying my stuff; DD says that's the only reason I bring him! Not true - i also like his money I will be the one way out in front until I realize everyone else is waaayyyy back behind at which point I will turn around and look and then have to wait for them to catch up! Been that way forever - don't see any changes on the horizon! Works for us!
Expect to spend more time at the pool (more than we usually do) but we say this every year!

our trip is only 39 days away, yay!

I've been trying for an Ohana reservation and nothing was open before 9:30 our entire trip. I am going to keep trying though, you never know! It's the only reservation I wanted that I wasn't able to get, and we didn't start booking ADRs until 50 days out so I was pretty pleased.

Same here, but I'll keep trying. I've had luck in the past making reservations a day or to before I need them so that might work. We'll see.
