Even if you aren't celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or completing college, you can still celebrate going on your 1st, 5th, or 10th Disney Cruise! Or you could be celebrating going to Alaska for the first time! Let me know if you want to add a celebration to the FE list. It would be cool to have a celebration for everyone listed, that way no one is left out.

Insides are sold out, a few outsides and all balcony are on gty status until you hit 4B and higher!

I find it so interesting that on an Alaskan cruise where the views are A-MAZING the insides sell out before the outsides and the verandas.

Include ME in the Palo brunch!!!!!!! I just sent you a pm with my room # and names.

We loved the brunch on our May 2010 cruise! The brunch is amazing and the bonus will be the scenery from the windows in the restaurant. Palo has the best view on the ship!!!!

If you do not have a Palo brunch reservation - do not miss this opportunity!

It IS wonderful, isn't it? Here's hoping we can get 3 more and a brunch spot!

Also they have a grape + blue cheese pizza that is amazing. I dreamed about the pizza for 1 year.

Ahahaha! My DH has talked about that pizza since our cruise last November!

I got all those special emails from DCL today reminding I am sailing in 3.5 weeks - geez thanks for the reminder because it isn't THE ONLY THING I THINK ABOUT! lol.

No number yet- I noticed all inside are gone and now they have opened OGT at a really decent price. Wish they had that when I booked, as it still would have fit the budget - oh well! I think people book the insides because it is affordable- and who could turn down a $1600 cruise for 2 people?

I am just so darn excited!

In regards to sea sickness, I've heard from people that the bracelets don't work. The patches are prescription only in the US & are pricey unless you have good insurance. If you want pills over the counter, there is Dramamine or Bonine (meclizine).

I have to respectfully disagree about the bands! I sailed from Cape Cod on a Whale Watch vessel (small) through 8 foot seas to get to the whale grounds. Half the people on our ship were ill, but I wore bands on both wrists and was not. About 30 years ago, we honeymooned on a cruise to Bermuda. We encountered high seas on the way home, and I took whatever the purser offered. I was asleep for the rest of the day! I believe it was generic Dramamine. For the whale watch, I needed something that would not affect my alertness, as I was chaperoning a group of 11 year olds! The bands were fabulous.

I suffer regularly from vertigo, and do take meclizine for it. It makes me feel a bit "dull," so if the bands work, I'm using them! Of course, everyone is different, so YMMV!

Hi everyone, We are working our FE gifts but need a few last names. Those with only 1 or 2 people it will work but need the others last name. Those I need are Montana DJ, dfsc, and Masterrocks.

As for celebrations it is our first mother and daughter great get away.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am not charging anything for the graphics for our group's shirts.

To make the shirts you will need a white short or long sleeve shirt. You will also need to purchase some iron-on transfer paper for "light" colored shirts.

I will also be "mirroring" the images for everyone so you will not need to worry about setting you printer up to print in mirror mode.

Also, I have had a couple people mention that they plan on wearing their shirts on embarkation day. Is that something that everyone would like to do???

If anyone else needs the graphics for our shirts please email me the names of the people in your group and an email address to send the graphics too.

Sorry that we aren't doing the Tshirt thing. I am not a matching shirt person and Meg would die of 15 yr old girl embarrassment if she had to wear one!! Lol. I would live a set of ears to print out for our door though!! Liz72@shaw.ca

I have sent a PM to MontanaDJ, Magicimaginear, Ajojo, and dfsc requesting information required to book the private brunch at Palo (the first and last name of each person in your group and their cruise reservation number). If any of you did not get something from me, please let me know, but essentially, I need the previously-mentioned information. The sooner I can get the information needed, the sooner I can send in the request, and the best shot we have at getting the brunch.

Morning stateroom report.. (LOL)...
Still no number - but now we have some insides open again on the cruise again.
I am wondering if people saw the OGT special, which is less than some of the insides, called and switched over.... or maybe they can't because final payment day is long past?

On another note - I finally figured out how I am going to suprise meg with the cruise on her birthday (May 2nd) - I am going to make my FE gifts while she is at school this week and wrap them up in a box. I am jsut going to have her open this box of FE gifts and she is going to be wondering WTH - and I am going to wait for her to clue in to what they are! LOL. She loves FE - one of her fave parts of going on DCL!

Palo Update:

I have faxed in our official request for the private room at Palo. Now, we wait... and hope that a little pixie dust falls our way and that we get it!
