Thanks so muchHave a great trip!!!
Thanks so muchHave a great trip!!!
Wow! So sorry you had that experience yesterday! I've heard crowds have been higher than expected all month so far, and am terrified of what we may encounter later this month! Hope today is a better experience for you!!!Well, Epcot was PACKED. Especially world showcase, there were points where we were barely able to maneuver/walk around. I was shocked at the number of rude people as well. We watched a woman lay into an employee because even though she was in a fastpass line she still had to wait for the next showing for Pixar. I finally asked her if she realized this was a show in a movie theater setting when she booked it. She started to snap at me but I told her that her failure to realize what she had a fastpass for was her fault, not the employees at which point her dh escorted her out. I know I probably shouldn't have said anything but I just couldn't sit there and listen to her be so mean to the woman when she did nothing wrong.
Our lunch at Beirgarten was made difficult by guests as well. We were seated with a family with a toddler and infant, both of whom proceeded to scream and cry the entire time. I felt bad for them, it was a late afternoon lunch and I'm sure they wanted to nap. Unfortunately mom and dad didn't seem to care and at one point even left both kids at the table with us to go get food. We were completely shocked, they hadn't said a word to us all meal and didn't say anything when they got up either.
Afterwards we went to the DVC lounge which was our saving grace at this point. We sat in the relative quiet and took some Tylenol waiting for our headaches to go away. We attempted to go back to the showcase but we ended up seeing another woman screaming at an employee because she was trying to park her double stroller in the middle of the walkway and blaming the employee for waking up her napping kids. We decided then to just leave.
We still got the rides we had planned in and enjoyed the topiaries but both dh and I were done with what really seemed to be a lot of negative people wandering the park. We are going back tomorrow and I know since it's a Friday it will be busy again but hopefully people we run into will be more pleasant!
Yesterday was HS, it wasn't nearly as crowded as the other parks had been and we were able to have a really great time. Honestly, we all agreed that our experience there rates as one of our best days yet. Dd (who is a HUGE Star Wars fan) got in the front row for one of the imperial marches where she faced off with a Storm Trooper with a huge grin on her face and flashing her Rey magic band in front of him.
Today is MK day two, we have breakfast at Cinderella's and plan to just take it easy today. At this point we are going in expecting large crowds as it's been that way all week. We are seriously considering a mid-October trip to see if it's more mellow. Our late May/early June trip two years ago was less busy than it is now. (Sorry this is so long, we've just never experienced so many rude people in a single day.)

OH wow!! That is crazy! I hope it is not that crowded when we go next weekend! We went during food and wine this past year. OMG you COULD. NOT. MOVE! I know what you mean by rude guests, At one point about 3 in the afternoon my DH was pushing DD(2) in the stroller with DS(7) sitting in the back of the sit and stand stroller it was so packed. It was the only way to move around without losing each other. Well anyway, a DD must of stuck her foot out sideways in "on-coming traffic" and nicked a guy in the leg. he look down at her and call her a little b*%^&. I'm surprised my DH kept his cool. He said it took everything he had to not punch him in the face. at that point we were done. We ended up find quiet in the back of England and stayed there the rest of the night letting the kids run around the garden maze.
Omg. This is making me panic about this weekend. The weather looks not so great on Sunday/Monday, so I'm hoping that might dissuade people from going to the parks. I keep messing with my suitcases...pulling out the lighter clothes and packing a few more leggings and sweatshirts for the kids.
At least the cooler temperatures might make the crowds more bearable?

That's just awful your DH showed great restraint.OH wow!! That is crazy! I hope it is not that crowded when we go next weekend! We went during food and wine this past year. OMG you COULD. NOT. MOVE! Looking forward to out dinner at Tiffins and the seeing RoL! Come on, March 28!!!!
I know right!! You are at a place for family and kids. Keep fingers crossed that it'll all go smoothly next weekend for us.My dh would have lost it! That's awful! I can't believe a full grown adult would speak to a small kid like that. I'm sorry!!
He certainly did. But I will agree that some parents with strollers us them as a battering ram! They don't care who or what is in their way! But at least you got some sweet pictures out of it!That's just awful your DH showed great restraint.
DD and I were in front of the hub getting our photo taken and while we were talking with the photographer a woman ran into and over my DD's foot with her stroller
The photographer was so sweet and took xtra magic shots.

I'm hoping the crowds die off before the end of the month. I was just able to move fast passes for mine train and toy story this morning, among others. So I'm hoping that's a good sign. I know it's spring break time, so figured it would be busy. But still hopeful. It's so hard to predict spring break crowds since they change every year.
Safe travelsI LEAVE TONIGHT!!!![]()
