On the night we have FP's for ROL I also got later FP's for EE and the Safari. Thought it would be fun to go on the Safari at sunset since we usually go in the early morning. EE is very fun at night too.
Maybe a later FP would help fill in the time between dinner and the show.

What date do you have a late FP for EE? I've been unable to snag an evening one on our date (searching since park hours changed) and we won't even be there on a night ROL is happening!!

So I'm confused... is there still an Electrical Parade or not? Is it just not happening in March? It's listed in our 2017 guidebook but I don't see any info on it elsewhere.

Electric Parade left MK last year.

Star Wars fireworks are every night at HS -- I believe it's at 9:15.

March 16 we have a 5:00 pm for EE figured we would get there closer to 6:00 to make sure it's dark. Hopefully now that hours have changed they will add more later FP's.

Our original plans didn't have us at AK either for ROL had to change things around including FP's. I was grateful about the selection that was left.

Same here. We had to change some things around once ROL was announced. I was also surprised that we were able to get the selections and times we wanted at only 40ish days out for one of the busiest weeks of the year.

We've never been spring break; Thanksgiving is the only holiday we've been other than Mother's Day. The crowds are definitely there, however we don't find them bad at all (and DH hates crowds!) We've found that rope drop is really beneficial that week as are table service meals. If you're going to eat QS try your best to NOT eat during peak mealtimes, so say 11 or after 1:30 for lunch, 4-4:30 or 7 and later for dinner. Then you avoid crazy food lines. From all I've read/heard for the most part Thanksgiving crowds are not as big as spring break crowds, so it shouldn't be anything you can't handle

Awesome. We've definitely used your eating strategy during Spring Break with great success. You can get a lot done on crowded days if you make rope drop, have a touring plan, and eat when other folks aren't. We go full blown commando tourist and do rope drop to close the whole time we're there. I'm 43, my wife is 47, and our daughter is 9, but we can still run with the big dogs! Hahahaha. It just take a lot of Starbucks.

Same here! I have been looking the week of 3/5. I have the safari 5:15 - 6:15pm, RoL 6:35 - 7:00pm, and was hoping for EE once park hours were extended! Seems EE stops by 5pm.

Dinosaur, It's Tough to be a Bug, River Rapids, Safari, and Primeval Whirl have extended times to 7:30. I guess I will just be flooding the EE standby like every other person in the FP+ RoL theater section.

Joining in on the fun! DH and I are taking our DDs 3 and 5 to stay at a Royal Room at POR at the end of March! It's getting close!

We stayed at POFQ last October for the Halloween party. It's my favorite moderate so far.
