Traveling with DH, DD11, DS8 and my friend's family of 6

Starting our trip off with a wonderful surprise. We added an extra day so that we could be there for Braves vs Red Sox at WWoS. My son is a huge Red Sox fan and he doesn't know we are going to the game! Total surprise! Another recent change to our plans is that we just canceled our CRT dinner reservations in order to afford us a day at Epcot. DH really didn't want to miss Epcot this trip. So our week looks like this:

I SO wish I could do that, but our school dates are the week prior. Such a bummer. We are just going to have to wait til Braves play Red Sox in June and either drive down to ATL or drive up to Mass. My inlaws live North of Boston and I usually take the kids up there for the summer anyway, but we are only 4 hrs North of Atlanta to begin with. Went down the game on Memorial Day last year. Total surprise to my DS15 he LOVES the Red Sox. Poor kid is brainwashed by his Dad, but what can you do? LOL

We'll be there March 7-13 (1 night at AKL, 5 at VWL)! This is our first trip during the spring PLUS on my actually birthday! Who is else will be there that week? Anyone doing the Magic Maker? We're still on the fence about it….

We will be there March 7-13 as well! 14 more days to go! We are staying at the Villas at the Grand Floridian. We always purchase memory maker and love looking at all the attraction photos after our trip. Although, last spring break we only took 35 photos on MM so the last couple of times we have made more of an effort to locate the photo pass photographers and get more pictures. In December, we got over 350 photos so it ended up being an amazing value!

Just one week until I leave on Amtrak for an overnighted to Orlando! I'll be solo at AKL, if anyone wants to get together for a drink/meal/whatever just let me know!

Told the kids this weekend as a last birthday present. They are very excited! 33 days until we get there.

DD (just turned 5) is *currently* wanting to go on everything she sees a video of on youtube. heh. even ToT!!!! I bet not when we get there, but we'll see.

DS (just turned 9) is over the moon thrilled about ToT and Star Tours (he loved them at DL) and is asking to go to HS more than the one day I planned. So, I think we'll upgrade to hoppers when we are there and he and DH can go in the evening a few other nights if they like.

I'm excited for all of you who are going soon, so awesome...

just posting because I can't contain my excitement!! I'll be reuniting with my long distance boyfriend who goes to college in Florida in 9 days!!! and of course we will be in Disney and I managed to snag a Be Our Guest out of nowhere three days ago right when I was about to give up hope for this trip! On top of that, it's our 3 year anniversary. So much happiness and magic is in my future!

Me too, I just want it to feel above freezing. I was looking at Orlando temps today as the mercury went lower and lower here.

I'm with you on the freezing temps! We're experiencing much lower temps than normal here in NY and, while I do prefer the cold to heat, this is a little extreme

10 day mark till we leave. Days are going so freaking slow. Plan is Epcot Monday, HS Tues, MK Wednesday and water park on Thurs. Missing AK this trip but what can you do. We may turn the water park day into AK day if the weather doesnt cooperate.

Buckled under all the snow in New England and booked a quick weekend to Flower and Garden Festival- 29 days!!!

Awesome for all of you getting there so soon! So excited for you. : )

I'm kind of struggling with what to bring for clothing at the end of March/beginning of April. We'll be doing rope drop a lot. I'm sure the forecast right before will be helpful, but it seems like two types of clothes for each of us. Long pants for morning, shorts for day. Plus sweaters or light jackets for morning. Are you all going to use the lockers or just carry around layers in backpacks?

Waiting patiently for the family to get out of work/school so we can start our road trip to Disney!!!! We will be staying at POFQ Feb 28- March 6. So ready to leave this deep freeze!!

We leave Thursday so of course, one kid looks like he's heading toward a sinus infection, and the other one had an issue with his braces yesterday and has something weird going on with his eye . Why should I be surprised lol?? So looks like in addition to packing and running school pictures next week I'm adding in a couple Dr. appointments. But it'll all be good when DH and I are on the plane Thursday!

This always happens, doesn't it!!! I hope they feel better, and that you guys can get out the door and relax on the flight for your anniversary. I am trying to figure out the closest places accepting our insurance in Orlando, just in case. : )
