Sadly, we must cancel our trip next week...DH lost his job of 22 years this morning. Thankfully, it was within the time frame where we could cancel with no penalty (other than the $1300 in airfare). And, no matter what life throws at us, God is good and our source.
I wish each of you a magical trip!! I'll look for some TRs from you guys!

Oh, I'm so sorry. Wishing your DH luck and success in finding a new job. We're you able to at least get an airfare credit? Maybe after things sort & settle, you would be able to plan something. Good luck.

We're leaving in three more days!

And today, as I was packing I pulled out my Disney park bag and I found a major bonus! I found a three pack of $15 Disney gift cards that I forgot I had!

Always nice to find a spare $45. It won't go far but it will go farther than $0.00 This calls for a big cheer!

Thanks for all the encouragement sent my way...last night was a rough night telling our son and the reality sinking in, but the sun did come up this morning, and you are correct...we've got God and each other...Life is Good.

25 more days. We are OUTTA control with excitement! And on top of this...my son informed us that he, his wife and their son to be (due ANY DAY) want to do a family trip 2014!!! I get to plan my grandson's first trip to DW!!! Crossing our fingers we can get a 2 bedroom at BAY LAKE TOWERS. Perfect location. Our other daughter & her hubby will be joining. I'm on

I just had a sobering thought....leaving in 17 days and I need to orient myself with MK! Lol. I haven't been there in 10 years and twice since then I have been to DL so I was thinking in my head about where rides are and was totally picturing where they are in DL NOT MK. Oops. Time to pull out the old map!

Packing goes into full swing this weekend. Most things are together and my lists are long, but need to get everything done this weekend so next I can spend finalizing. The weekend after that and we are out of here!

I haven't been on the Dis in a while so imagine my joy today when I came on and saw my ticker only said 3 days! Obviously I knew I was leaving on Saturday but I didnt realize Saturday was just 3 days away.

I am so excited to finally see the New Fantasyland! And since we have never been in March before its going to be our first time seeing the Flower and Garden Festival! Oh and first time on new TT! So many firsts and new things, its so exciting!

Back from our first trip of the month and it was FREEZING!! Brrrrrrr

Despite being able to see our breath, we had a great time. I loved Pop Century and will be staying there again. It was a short, three day trip, and much too cold to explore the resort as much as I wanted to.

Next trip coming up in ten days. Will be staying for a week this time. Woo Hoo!

I hear you about needing to kick in in gear to begin the organizing and packing. I leave this weekend for a conference then will be back for a week and half prior to flying out to WDW!! My the time has flown by. Whew!!! Can't wait to get there and just relax and take it easy!!!

Question for any of you that are seasoned March travelers, how busy is it really for the whole month? I know that the last week will be but some websties show the whole month as being 10 crowd days in the parks and I cant imagine that. We are heading down in 2 cool1 days for a 3 days at WDW and I just cant imagine it being that busy yet.

I know that colleges have spring breaks but how many college kids really rush to WDW. And at least by me no elementary or high schools have off till the end of the month or even not until the end of April!I know families with young kids can go now but why would they pick now over the fall and they cant account for that many people

I mean if it is crowded it is what is and of course we plan on hitting parks early and taking advantage of really late EMH this weekend, but I am just having trouble wrapping my mind around it being that busy right now.

I know its been cold the past few weeks but I must say that the weather is looking BEAUTIFUL now! Cannot wait to get down to some beautiful WDW weather and get away from this freak March snow up north!

Schools in the South have it off for Spring Break (elementary-highschool). I live in Houston and we are coming down this saturday specifically because it is Spring break. So not alot of schools are out, but yes, this is the start of spring break season.

That being said, I doubt there are enough schools on spring breakto make this coming week a 10 crowd level. Probably more like 7 to 8.
