*OFFICIAL MARCH 2010 THREAD* - Lets countdown together!

Hmmmm.. 8 days to go and I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to pack with two needy children in the house. :headache: not making much headway. My kids are completely obsessive of my time during the day, and then when night comes, my husband gets needy and wants to watch our TiVo'ed shows! Now my husband is working all weekend to prepare his office for his one week vacation. By the time I have 5 free minutes to pack, the kids are sleeping, my husband is snoring, and I am exhausted! Must manage my time better...:confused: Is everyone packing both warm clothes and cool weather clothes?

My lime green Mickeys came out good. am going to try to post a picture. I will be up packing at midnight the next 7 nights, lol.

The weather is definitely iffy lately! I'm packing summer clothes and layers - some comfy cotton jackets that will be warm enough but easy to carry or tie around my waist. As for bottoms, I will have some long skirts, capris, and a pair of pants just in case. If it isn't enough, I guess I'll have an excuse to buy some more Disney clothes :)

Woo Hoo! I will be in good company. I am driving down :drive:
- about 18 hrs one way so I will be the one that looks like this -
:faint: by the pool.

:) See everyone there. :)

We drive too since there are 9 of us this trip. It's a 14 hour drive for us. We hope to leave by midnight tomorrow night and arrive at Kidani around 3:00pm Saturday.

wow. I just tried to add 2 people to a 4 top reservation at Crystal Palace... The Cast Member on the phone was SOOOooo helpful. Really. Nicest woman ever, really tried to accomodate me. But its a no go. My aunt and Uncle wanted to come join us at CP for dinner, but there is no budging on reservations, even existing ones. Just wanted to let you guys know ( Im sure everyone knows all ready!) That adding people to your exisiting reservation 2 weeks out is completely impossible. She also said barely any seats at ANY TS restaurants are avail. for March 21. Full house!

Any suggestions what to do with the two people meeting us for dinner, because as much as I love them, I am not giving up my Crystal Palace Rezzys, LOL!!

LOL! I COMPLETELY understand what you are going through. Good luck trying to fit that packing in. Midnight seems like a good plan.
:rotfl: I have piles of clothes in my living room (which no one goes in luckily) for everyone except my husband. And we only have a few more green Mickey's to do. The ones we've done so far came out good :goodvibes

Any body worried about the crowd levels??

We are going from Mar 27th to Apr 3rd and the crowd levels have gone from levels 6 and 7 to levels 9 and 10!:scared1:

But yet, all the Value hotels are available (we are staying offsite, seven free nights thanks to points) and several ADRs are available...not CRT, CM, or anything like that, but I think I was able to get good ADRs such as CP, CR, Akershus, etc.

So should we be worried? Switch to on property??:confused3

I waited til after midnight just so that I could post that

I'M GOING TO THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH IN 7 DAYS!!!

Sorry - just had to get that out.
:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

I checked the crowd counts and they are 7's and 8's with one 5 in there. Temps are looking pretty reasonable. I'm packing capris, shorts, and wearing pants down there for later in the week on the low 70's day (which thankfully is not my beach day now!)

Luggage tags are printed, now I just have to finish the touring book that my DD just requested this morning. (Sure - I can put together a stylish book for you in 4 days!) My shipped package is on it's way down there, arriving on Tuesday to wait for us. (Wish I could have stuffed myself in a box and went with it...) I also have my lime green Mickey tag ready to go.

CAN'T WAIT!!!

Leaving TOMORROW!!!!!! Hope everyone there now or heading there soon has a wonderful time! I'm not even thinking about weather or crowds at this point, we are going to have a blast no matter what. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Nearly 8 months ago I started this thread, and now we are leaving tomorrow morning bright and early! So much has happened in between July and now but we were determined to take this trip by hook or by crook and it's FINALLY TIME!!!!!!!:wizard:

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

OK... touringplans has us all in an uproar with their newly updated crowd calendar. Anybody at Disney right now? It has crowds at a 7 for this week. How are the crowds?

Touringplans has my numbers at 7/8 for next week, so I'm hoping this will be a fairly good comparison if I can get a real, live Dis-report from on the ground. :lmao:

I just saw another thread about that, checked, and sure enough my levels have changed. Kind of a bummer, but still--8's with a few 7's and a 5 are better than the 9's our first trip to WDW over spring break. And I thought that was easy--got there at rope drop, good touring plans, took breaks, never waited long at all. Going back to the first time I wrote down crowd levels for this trip (I have 5 rows of crowd predictions, they've changed multiple times--LOL) these new numbers are very similar.

It doesn't matter, at least we'll be at Disney, right? ;)

:cool1::woohoo:I'm so excited!! 6 days left. I bought my purex sheets to pack, and got 2 rolls of quarters and ones today from the bank for tolls, tipping, pressed penny machines, etc!! Now I know it is almost here :banana:
