I second all the requests for nice, warm March weather! Thinking about which shorts and skirts to hopefully pack for Disney is helping me deal with the thought of an impending blizzard tomorrow!

We have fifty some odd days.... March 27th is our leave date.
I've made packing lists AND to do lists already.
My bestie said she was pretty happy to be going with a human Disneyland map.

I have been working on some basic park day strategies today. It is not a do or die schedule but I figure I really want some direction in the parks so we are not standing there clueless. Well my DH will still be clueless, LOL!

I just changed my Breakfast ADR at Askerhaus from 930 am to 1030 am. That way we can take advantage of Rope Drop and ride Soarin, Test Track and Mission Space and snag a FP for one of them for later then go to Breakfast.

I also ordered the 2010 Passporter, can't wait for it to arrive.

That is a good idea - I would hit Soarin first. Test Track and Mission Space are close by each other. Passporter has some great maps.

After all this lovely weather here in Pittsburgh - Disney sounds like the place to be!!

Welcome to the Disboard LindsayDianne. I too am leaving on the 27th and arriving on the 28th. I have packing lists on my computer for all seasons that I update from trip to trip. I have a Disney wallet that I keep with my WinnDixie card, my Disney gift card and DVC membership card and I just add my Disney Visa, my AAA card and my license. I also keep extra insurance cards in there. My Disney wallet is a much lighter weight wallet that my regular one.

Are you going to Disneyland in California? or do you mean Disney World? I think most of us on this board are going to Florida. If so, we're staying at SSR. What about you?

WE BOOKED A PET SITTER!

For those of you with dogs, you know how we love them... we have a old dog that can't be kenneled and my pet sitter wasnt getting back to me for a week so I was worried we'd have to book someone new... luckily her and I just had a nice talk and everything is set for March. She is so reasonable too!

Who ever mentioned the Passporter, Oy! I love this thing.

Question - has anyone ever eatten at Tonys on Main Street and if so, how do you like the food? I didn't even know that place existed. The Passporter gave it 8's which is quite high for their food reviews, and Italian is my second favorite to Morracan.

All my ADRs have been made for a month, but now Im torn...Crystal Palace for the kids, or Tony's for Moi?

Not long now, girls and boys. We have so many pressing issues in our lives, between my husband, son, and myself with our health, our money issues, etc... it is SO NICE that most pressing issues of my days lately has been what princess costume to get my daughter for her day at Bibbidi Bobbiti and which places we plan to eat. So much more fun worrying about these kind of things than all the stressful things in life.

I just realized that we have only 28 days left until we get to WDW. We still have 2 feet of snow on the ground and sitting here waiting for another foot to come. My kids have had no school all week and another snow day already confirmed for tomorrow. Oh how March 10th is not coming fast enough.

But I needed a little bit of WDW so I am making the pot roast from 50's Prime time and I made the cheesecake from BW bakery for dessert.

Tonight I will order the last bit of things I need for our trip and work on making our Tshirts for the trip.

Well, someone needs to remove me from the March list. We had to cancel because I blew my knee out and need to have surgery. At first I was completely bummed (actually insert the biggest and meanest expletive you could ever imagine), but I know it was the right thing to do. So now we are heading out May 3rd and it will be even better! Staying at the WL, with a parkhopper, with the DP. Now I am super, super excited! Who cares about the bum knee! We are doing Disney the right way!!! Come on May 3rd!!!

Maybe I should ask this on another thread.. But I still have not settled on what bag to carry at the park. I have 3 sitting here and am not sure. I still keep looking. For those that carry a backpack.. Do you ever worry that someone will open it and take something and you dont even realize it? I am so paranoid arent I!

I got a nice backpack from disneystore.com. It was one that you could personalize so it has out last name and Mickey embroidered on it. It has a ton of compartments and the stretchy things on teh side to hold a water bottle. Its a pain to open so its a good thing, no one could open it without me knowing, yet a pain since its hard to open. Its comfy to wear too. The straps are wide and have really nice cushion to them. I used to carry a small Coach backpack but it was way too small and not comfy to wear. Now with the Disney one DH will carry it and the kids can as well.

It works for us.

I'm not a fan of backpacks only from the point that they are awkward on the rides. I've bought a Baggalini for the first time. I usually take a tummy pack but my kids have banned me from bringing it! The Baggalini is small, but it will carry my camera, cards and sunglasses when necessary - they have several sizes available. I bought it online from QVC. It has a long strap that I'll probably wear messenger bag style. I don't like heavy or large bags for the parks - light and easy is the way for me!!!

I got a messenger Baggalini as well... it looks fantastic. I'll probably switch it out for my purse for dinner each night.

We leave three weeks from tomorrow!

Baggallini for me too. I went with the overland donner but I hated the straps. DH carries a big backpack to the parks and on MK days I won't carry a bag at all.

Sorry to hear about your knee. At least you are still going to WDW. This FL weather better warm up soon so we will all be freezing in WDW this March. I hope it will be warm by May!
