*OFFICIAL MARCH 2010 THREAD* - Lets countdown together!

This is my first time going in March in a long time. What are you guys packing? Pants, shorts, capris? T-shirts, long-sleeves, hoodies?

All of the above, yes. :)

I mean, if the forecast says it's gonna be 80-90 the whole week, I might not bring lots of sweatshirts, but things change very quickly with the weather in March, even in Orlando, and being out every night till midnight, I'm bound to get cold.

I'm thinking of packing a lil' bit of everything myself, but I always do that no matter where we're going. You just never know what the weather will do on any given day in any given part of the country. I mean, did anyone expect to see it snow in Disney? Yet, I understand it did just that recently. My husband thinks I'm nuts, but I'd rather be prepared.

I've got some things gathered in the corner of our bedroom. I have to get out the suitcase, though, to put more stuff in since the kids aren't getting told where we went til after we get back. Don't want to listen to them complain that they aren't going for the next 42 days!

I pack everything too. We are going to buy some summer stuff when we get down there because they always have better deals.

This is our 4th year in March and even when it says it will be 90 all week or 70 all week it turns out to be the opposite LOL.

I have some plastic boxes that are never UNpacked. They even have "Disney" written on the sides. That's where the stuff we only use at Disney goes. Then when I pick up things for the trip, I just toss them in the boxes. We limit clothing because we do laundry in our villa. That saves space for other things we need to take. Well, actually my daughter in law mostly does the laundry. Since she and my ds don't have to pay for lodging that's her way of saying thank you. Suits me just fine!

We haven't started packing yet - we're totally last minute packers. :rotfl:

Anyone else doing any of the Princess races? My husband and I are doing the 5K. :) We're excited and nervous - never done anything like this before!

I haven't started packing yet but I'm sure my sister has. :rotfl: I have started looking at 'items' we can pack though. :goodvibes

What exactly can you pack six weeks out? LOL.

I packed my three children and my husband's bags today. It's winter here and it's going to be nice and warm there, so all of our summer stuff is waiting in the bags that are now waiting in the hall. Flip-flops, and Disney goods are set too. We go every March, and I always pack nice and early... it's great to be able to double and triple check everything as time gets closer.:yay:

Ah, okay. I'm a "night before we leave" packer.

I usually start packing three days to a week before my trip, and usually finish the night before I leave! I always WANT to start early, but living in Louisiana, the weather here is similar to the weather in Florida so there's never really anything I'm NOT going to wear! :lmao:

We'll be there the 3rd-8th and my DD19 (princesscaitlin) will also be doing the 5k. She's never done a race before either. Good luck to all of you! :thumbsup2

We are going from 18th-24th staying at POFQ. Last minute booking and we are very excited haven't been there since 10/2008. Nothing like that feeling of coming HOME :)))))

OMGosh! I just realized that I will be packing summer clothes. Clothes I haven't worn in over 6 months. Clothes that might be, ahem, a little more form-fitting, if you will. I guess I need to start that Special-K diet IMMEDIATELY!

We're planning on doing laundry while there to cut down on packing too much. We want to have room for the goodies I'm sure we'll be brining back.

We haven't started packing yet but I'm hoping Target comes out with more summer stuff soon and we can make a trip to go shopping!

I need to start packing to make sure my DD7's summer clothers still fit and swimsuit or if I need to get new ones. DD4 is fine, she has all her sister's hand me downs and her cousins, so she is set. I also may need to get them new sandals as well. And while I am at it, I will probably buy myself some too!

Also, since we are going in March and it will most likely be cold, I think we could all wear some of our layers we need (sweatshirts or light jacket) on the plane, therefore saving some room in our luggage.

March 20 -27 2010 , YAY Getting Excited !!!! POFQ :cheer2:

I haven't officially started packing yet. I did check with my son at college and asked him if he was going to need anything. I may just bring the luggage down from the attic this weekend.
How many of us recheck and repack our bags numerous times? I do.
