*OFFICIAL MARCH 2010 THREAD* - Lets countdown together!

Going to POR 3/15-3/19. First time with the kids.:thumbsup2

I made the final payment of my package yesterday !!!
Used my Disney Visa, so I got some more rewards for my vacation !:thumbsup
But, oh this waiting ....................
I am passing the time reading trip reports !!! :surfweb:

:confused3 What is everyone else doing, to pass the time ? :confused3

We got our DME tags in the mail today.:woohoo:

Us too... although I'm freaked out that the brochure says to check in at LEAST 3 hours before departure. We live in NYC, and the flight leaves at 8:05. We were planning on arriving at the airport between 6 and 6:30. Does this disqualify us from ME luggage service?

:thumbsup2

That's wonderful! Good for you and good luck!
Thank you!

We'll be there the 3rd-8th and my DD19 (princesscaitlin) will also be doing the 5k. She's never done a race before either. Good luck to all of you! :thumbsup2
Good luck to her as well!

I'm working out to make sure my capris fit and that I'm ready for the 5K. I'm also cleaning and organizing things around the house. And I'm starting to think about what things I'll need to buy before I go - goggles, running shoes, bathing suit ... And I'm listening to a lot of Disney music while I'm doing all of this. :rotfl:

The 3 hours is for your trip home. You must check in at the RAC at your resort 3 hours before your flight time.

Going to MCO all you need to do is make sure you have your DME luggage tags on your checked luggage when you check in at the airline desk and you have your DME booklet with you in your carry on. This has your vouchers to take the DME bus.

You will get more info on using the DME service for your trip home the day before your leave. They will hang it on your room door.

Hello.... this is my first visit to the March trip board. Hello Everyone!!! We are DVC members and our last visit was July 09. Seems so long ago! :lmao: We're going down with another family to celebrate our sons making Ealge Scout. they're not done yet, but they're all in the home stretch. They must finish in the next couple weeks as they turn 18! We're staying in a 2 bedroom villa at SSR.

I've started my Disney World diet. I need to lose 4 pounds minimum (10 for ideal) to get back in my July Disney attire. It doesn't seem like a lot, but for me, for some reason, it makes a difference. What are you doing to diet? I'm watching fat and calories and I'm hitting the gym daily. I'm working with a personal trainer 2 days a week and taking Kukuwa (an African/Caribbean dance workout). The rest of the days, I'm running or eliptical. :scared1:

62 more days. We're leaving here by car on March 27th and arriving on the 28th. I love EPCOT Flower & Garden. Its one of my most favorite times to be there. It'll be spring break too, so I'm worried about crowds, but in 08 we did spring break, and it wasn't nearly as bad as this past July! Woooo:eek:

So yesterday I pulled out all bathing suits, flip flops, crocs, shorts and a few tank tops. Will pack more capri's and tshirts in about a month since hopefully the weather will warm up here soon. :goodvibes Good just be wishful thinking though. LOL! Glad I pulled out the bathing suits cause DD8 (will be 9 on the 26th of Feb) has gone through a big growth spurt. Oh and I pulled out the autograph books and poncho's! I'm SOOOOOO ready to go. Sad part is I must be in Orlando for 3 days and can't go to WDW. Tha'ts going to be hard.

I usually start packing three days to a week before my trip, and usually finish the night before I leave! I always WANT to start early, but living in Louisiana, the weather here is similar to the weather in Florida so there's never really anything I'm NOT going to wear! :lmao:

I'll probably pack the weekend before we go. We leave on a Wednesday. I want to check the 10 day forecast. I just don't know about the weather. :confused3
Do I take mostly shorts, capris, or jeans. Sweatshirts, t-shirts, or tank tops ?
I'm assuming that time of year, will be a combination of everything !
I do have all our t-shirts (4 of us) figured out. I make my family color coordinate for each day. :lmao:
So I have our t-shirts piled together in our closet, already.
But, I do need one more green shirt for my husband, for St. Patricks day ! :thumbsup2
 One month, and two weeks to go !!

To pass the time I am planning our Dec 10 trip and trying to convince DH into DCL before our Dec 2011 trip. I'm also shopping for new clothes. Although I have no clue what the weather is normally like in March since we always go in Dec. So what in the world do I even pack or buy?

We are packing a little of everything. Definitley shorts and tanks...but sweatshirts and jeans too!

Oh, my goodness! If March doesn't hurry up and get here so help me......!!! Paid our Disney vacation balance this weekend so now it REALLY seems close. (Am I the only person that gets giddy when you call the reservation line and hear the *chime* upon your connection?!? I seriously think I need to call Disney every day just to hear the *chime* and get my day started in the right direction!!) I have been on ebay and Disneyshopping like a mad woman... buying up lots of Disney trading pins and new costumes for my girls. There will be nothing left to buy at the parks if it doesn't get here soon!! We haven't told our kids that we're going and plan on surprising them just before we leave. DH and I are about to BUST! Thank goodness for the disboards!

I'M GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

When we were there in December, I realized my capris were a bit tight, so I've got to lose some so I can be comfortable. :rotfl: Don't want to buy new ones!

I'm not really "dieting", but I have tried to cut back a little bit (especially on the bad ice cream habit I've developed! :rotfl:). I'm borrowing my husband's aunt's healthrider to help me tone up - doing about 2 - 3 reps a day on it mainly for my arms (starting to notice a difference! :cloud9:). We just bought a used elliptical in great shape off of Craigslist from a family that's moving out of state and I'm using that for 30 to 60 minutes per day. The days my husband is off of work we've been hiking/running by a river near our house. And I'm also learning how to belly dance.

Oh, my goodness! If March doesn't hurry up and get here so help me......!!!
Just think - in just one week, we'll all be able to say we're going to Disney World NEXT MONTH!! :thumbsup2

I am going to be getting a elliptical on Friday. I'm hoping it will build up my endurance for WDW as well as help me loose some extra weight. :goodvibes

That just makes me :dance3::dance3: :banana::banana::banana: :cool1::cool1::cool1:
