That sounds like a great plan. I am an EMT and DH is a ParaMedic so we are use to nights. A play area sounds fantastic. I am a bit concerned about the weather. I hope the snow stays away our last trip we flew out and it looked like this:

I'm hoping that it doesn't look like that outside. But with March and in Michigan.. Well we could have any kind of weather. Hopefully for any of us that will be driving it will be nice.

I'll join in! We're heading down March 20-28. This will be the second trip for my family of 4, but this time we're taking along the rest of my immediate family so it should be lots of fun--9 of us altogether! Feels like I've been planning forever! We're renting a house in Windsor Hills (stayed in a townhouse our first trip and LOVED it.) Got our flights on Southwest when the dates opened. I didn't hear about ADR's switching back to 180 days until the day of the switch, so that kinda stressed me out but I got ours booked. (Only doing HDDR and Chef Mickeys) Bought our tickets already and I've started our touring plans. I may run out of things to do before our trip gets here!!

I bought the Unofficial guide for 2009 so I have til the end of 2009 to get the info from the site for free.

They have changed crowd predictions 3 times this year. When we first picked our week back in April 2009, our week was all 5's and 6's. then is changed over the summer and had 5, 6, 7 and 8's, the 8's were all towards the end probably due to the Spring Break time.

They updated them again this month. Now they range from having one 4, a couple of 5's, 6's, 7's and 8's all over the place. So I think it will be busy some days but for the most part I think it will be good and before it really gets busy the following week.

After reading your post I went and check the calendar for our dates...lots of changes! Good ones--the levels all went down 1 or 2 notches, so mainly 7's with a 5,6 and a couple 8's. I'll take it...our first trip to Disney was all 9's. (And I didn't think the crowds were bad at all, so 5-7's should be wonderful to me!) LOL The only bummer was that they changed a couple of the best parks...which could mess up an ADR I have. They didn't change to a 'park to avoid' though, so maybe I'll just leave it as is. (Especially since it could change again before March gets here...right?!)

Oh man, I forgot about that promotion (even though we're using it! LOL!) You're right, it'll probably be brutal. But like you said, the weather should be great, which will make up for the crowds

I think the holidays are getting her quite fast and they were farther away then our trip is now when we booked...lol So I'm sure that after the holidays time will be flying. I already feel like I'm losing time though...lol I've been sick for the last three weeks, so it's been a blur.

We were around 180 days when we first booked our vacation. So this feels like a really BIG mile stone! The countdown chains are so much fun for the kids. I have two of them. One is for each week Monday leading up to when we leave and the other one is a daily one. We only have 14 rings left on the weekly one, 13 as of tomorrow morning! That makes it seem so much closer.

I cut out the strips of paper for the kids to decorate. I put the date that each one should be taken off on each link. Then gave the kids some crayons and had them color them how ever they wanted. I made a big Mickey head for the last ring to be attached to. So our weekly one is home made. But I think you could probably use the one you can download and print out from The Mouse for Less. Just hand write in the dates you want them removed so you don't forget. We used the Mouse for Less one for our daily links. I just wrote the dates on each one, just in case they forget to take one off on one of the days. They love it. The only problem that I've run into with the daily one with the characters on it is that my DS refuses to remove the ring unless it has Goofy or Tigger on it...

Me too! We are at 100 days. I'm worried about the crowds but I work for the school board and that's spring break so we'll take it! Any day at Disney is a good day right?

We changed our dates slightly (but we are still staying at CSR) because the Red Sox spring schedule starts on Mar 3. So now we will be at CSR Feb 27- Mar 6. We will then head to Bradenton for 3 nights and go to two games in Ft Myers and one game at the new Orioles stadium in Sarasota.
Got our Red Sox tickets yesterday and will get the Orioles game tickets in January.

Everyday my two year old little girl says... "Via going on big boat?" Her name is Olivia, but she calls herself Via. It's just sooooo cute. She knows the names of all the characters and just can't wait. She loves to look at the pictures of the Disney Cruse and all the characters she'll see again at the parks. Are we there yet?
