I'm a pin collector. I do not trade my pins because I buy pins that commemorate something specific for me or my children. For instance, I have a pin for each resort we've stayed at. I have some DVC exclusive pins, one for favorite rides. I started buying my daughter pins each time she rides a "big kid" ride for the first time, such as Splash Mountain and Soarin'. She also has a special Tinkerbell pin that a cast member gave her, just for being so cute. There are special pins that you can only get randomly from cast members. They did this during Year of A Million Dreams. If you want to trade pins, just buy some pins that you won't be attached to and use those as traders. Cast members who are wearing a pin trading lanyard HAVE to trade with you if you ask. So, all you have to do is ask. I stopped wearing my lanyard because it got too heavy. Some of my 3D pins were heavy. I was there for Thanksgiving in 07 and got a special pin with Stitch putting a turkey in the oven. The oven keeps opening up.. and once I was running for the bus and several of my pins fell off. I discovered this just as the bus was pulling out. I immediately notified the bus drive and her dropped me back where I thought I lost the pins, and believe it or not, I found them. They rolled into a soda machine shelter (at the AK bus stops) as I was running by. I didn't even go in the soda shelter!
Anyway, the take-away is buy a package of locking pin-backs from any shop that sells pins.

Hope they fit !

Ill just leave it on the table till we get home. She gets anxiety if she goes to school and her homework is not done. Im not sure how she is related to me. I was never like that. At least this way when we get home, she can dive into homework, which she loves doing, and get back to normal routine.
Since we are dealing with a 6 year old, I didn't get anything too fancy. Just a couple handfuls and a lanyard to trade for fun. She will treasure them since she is such a little collector. My son could care less. All he is going to want to do at Disney is see Buzz and Woody and jump in the fountains. He is completely fearless so as long as he is tall enough, he will go on anything. My daughter is much more apprehensive.
The teacher is sending her journal with us and that will be her writing/language arts lesson each day. She is suppose to write down what we do each day and what she enjoyed most. She is looking forward to doing it too. I'm sure she will be pretty tired though, so I will be taking notes just as a reminder just in case she is sleeping at night.
. So here is my updated ADR list:

Now it really feels real! We've got our timeshare booked, the tickets are in our hot little hands. We have our reservation for Cinderlla's Royal table and we are going to do the Pirate Adventure dinner show one night!
Is it March yet?
