Anyone else hitting some Braves Spring training games while you are there? We got lawn seats on the 9th when they play Philly. it is a night game so that should be pretty fun. I hear the stadium is lovely.

We are starting out our trip with a game in Coco Beach to watch our team the Washington Nationals get ready for the regular season.

Great time to be in FL if you are a baseball lover!

We are going March 13-20 and staying at BWV with the DDP! And we have tickets to see the Braves vs. Marlins on the 16th!

Our plans have changed. We have found much cheaper flights to Disney and we are able to stay a couple of extra days. We are now stay 20-27 at Movies. This is great because now we are going to be at Disney for my DD's 7th birthday and I was able to get ADR for Epcot's Princesses Storybook Dining on her birthday. Has anyone ever had a birthday or birthday cake at this restaurant?

Well, I tried to book the Fantasmic Dining Experience for March 4, but every restaurant is completely booked! Oh well. Then the guy I was talking to said they were also showing Fantasmic on March 7, which last time I checked was not on the WDW calendar! But that turned out to be completely booked, too. So I guess we will just have to contend with the teeming hoards if we want to see Fantasmic.

How cool is that! I use shutterfly all the time and have even made a book before. NEVER thought about doing one for autographs. Great idea...hope you don't mind if I copy you

I am so excited to say that we can pay off our March trip with our Income Tax check that we are going to get . We just did our taxes tonight and DH and I are celebrating

Have any of you gone before in the month of March specifically the second week in March? I'm not happy with my ADRS, boy what else is new with me LOL. Reason why is we are doing DxDDP, its our anniversary trip so we are splurging. Now my concern is that we will be too into the parks and not want to leave to go to back to the room to get changed since almost every night we are doing signature dining places. Since I don't want to make double ADRS I was wondering if its possible to do walk ups. This way I can keep our ADRS and if a few hourse before we are not wanting to leave I can call and cancel and we can just try and do a walk up. It would only be for 2 of our nights that I would give up our ADRs.

Oh My gosh Deluxe Dining... prepare to stuff yourself with food!! I do not recommend walk-up during Spring Break time-frame. Don't forget also, that EPCOT will be hosting Flower & Garden show. However, if you do need to do a walkup, I find you are much more likely to get in, in a resort restaurant vs. a park restaurant. If you need to change ADR's mid-stream though, call Dining from your cell phone right away. We do this and they've ALWAYS found us something appropriate and its much better than walking up randomly.

March 27th for us... and we are officially paid off today!!!!!

We're leaving home on March 27th and arriving at Disney March 28th, so we'll be there the same week.

Is the idea to have the characters sign the pages with the pictures already there from a previous trip? What if you spy a character that you haven't already photographed? What kind of pen writes on the pages without schmearing?

I made some very inexpensive autograph books this way. I bought 5x7 sized spiral albums (no page protectors) at the craft store. I put stickers on the front with Title (Autographs) and some mickey heads and swirls, and each girls name. Then I put some crayons in my park bag. Each character we saw, I had sign on a fresh page with the adjacent page blank. (mark the top of the page so you don't have to rearrange spiral pages---a pain but can be done). Then, when I got home, I had 4x6 photos printed of my daughter and niece with each character. I put the photos on the pages adjacent to the correct autograph and then I embellished the page with character die-cuts made with my cricut machine and/or store bought stickers. I have plenty of pages for trips to come and it looks wonderful. Each album was about $6.00 after coupon.

Yes, that is the idea. And I made double blank pages at the back of the book for each park. Those are for characters that we have never met. I think I covered most of the basics though. We have been 2 years in a row and have seen about the same people. Hoping that we meet the characters from UP this year!!! My boys loves that movie.

And I will just bring clickable Sharpie pens. That is what the girl I stole the idea from uses and she said they don't smear. I also have some nice scrapbooking markers that might work. I will test them when it gets here.
