8 days and packing up a storm. I can't believe it.

Yeah for 7 days!!!!

I kept meaning to ask you what a Badookie was so I finally clicked the link and I get it now. My daughter (also a Jillian) used to be in love with Woody from Toy Story. We searched everywhere but the fad had gone and we couldn't buy one for her. However, friends of ours had a little boy, David who had one that he said Jillian could borrow. To this day I'll remember her asking to go to their house so she could 'play with David's Woody'. My husband just about fainted. Gotta save that one for her wedding speech.

When my kids were young, my son received a GI Joe for Christmas and my daughter a Barbie. At naptime DD had GI Joe with her. When bedtime came around she wanted it again. I explained that it was her brother's. She complained and then I showed her all of her stuffed animals and dolls that she could sleep with. She said, "But I want a man to sleep with." Yippee. She's 17 now.

And to stay on topic - 24 more days until my WDW trip.

Those stories are too funny!

I was being so good about not letting myself get too excited, but at about 2 1/2 weeks to go, I let loose... Now the days and minutes can't pass quickly enough! I'm ADDICTED to checking discussion boards, thinking about what to pack, etc. If anyone figures out how to travel through time, I'd like to skip ahead to March 7th, please! What's worse, we haven't even told our kids yet, and it's making me crazy to keep a secret this big!

For all of you wondering about the weather during your trip, might I recommend AccuWeather.com? You can get the forcast 15 days out, and their "real feel" predictions are usually right on. (That's basically a prediction about what the air temperature will feel like taking into consideration wind, etc.) I'm ready to bake my northern skin in the sun a little

Oh, you have to do a TR! I love the "surprise the kids" stories!

My son received a "Woody" doll on Christmas morning when he was 2. He brought him with us to my in-laws (who lived next door) to wake them up (something we did every year on Christmas morning) and he jumped up and down in the middle of their bed screaming, "Paw Paw, I got a woody!!!!" It was HILARIOUS!!!!!

whats interesting is that the results are different between weather.com and accuweather.com - by as much as 5 degrees.

My kids countdown calender is getting full of Disney stickers too. The anticipation is half the fun!! This is better than Christmas because Christmas is over in one day but this will last an entire week!! I LOVE all the planning and pre-shopping too. We have charts and lists...an itinerary all mapped out!! I have needed to do some spring cleaning for awhile now to get rid of a bunch of clutter and things we don't use anymore....sooooo I told the kids to clean out their closets and I did mine too, and we are having a yard sale!! I told the kids whatever we make at the sale will be extra spending money for Disney!! You would not believe the results I got! Talk about motivation!!

I hope all of you March'ers, (us included!), have a magical vacation!!

I really swear by AccuWeather. Be sure to look at the temp. labeled "RealFeel". More times than not, that's exactly how it ends up feeling on a given day. Sometimes this is 5 degrees +/- the forcasted temp. (if you follow me here ), but it is very useful in planning what to wear/pack. I'm counting on it. AccuWeather don't let me down!

We just recieved our Package and our DMX package to!! 30 days from to day Inside a month .We leaveing on my DS(the 24 of March) 16th Birthday,He thinks we are leaving on the 27th,this Is just one Of many suprises In store for Him,I just am haveing a hard time from not telling him I really have to hold back. Also he thinks we are going to Washington DC(I am the History buff and the second half was going to be for me,but what the heck the look on my DS face will be well worth It) for the second half of our 2 week trip but I changed it to a week In orlando to see US Sea world and Bush gardens the only problem Is I can not talk to him about It,because Its a suprise and thats driving me up the wall!!
