"Official" March 09 thread Who Else???

I saw that too. We are arriving late in the day and staying off property the first night with points so I am not so concerned with the weather that day. It is Tuesday our first full day other than that the week seems suburb:cloud9:

We arrive in Orlando around 10:30 and going directly to Coranado Springs and then Magic Kingdom. Our Schedule is:

Monday - Magic Kingdom (1/2 day)
Tuesday - EPCOT
Wednesday - Magic Kingdom
Thursday - Hollywood Studios
Friday - Blizzard Beach and then EPCOT
Saturday - Animal Kingdom
Sunday - start at Magic Kingdom but then move to EPCOT for the BEST OF DAY. Might squeeze in Hollywood Studios if the kids really want to.

I wish!!!:hourglass

I am so ready!!! I'm going to make my packing list and I just tried on my spring/summer clothes the other day.

My mom is in Ohio and it's way cold there with snow so I KNOW she is ready for Florida!! :thumbsup2

I feel like I don't have anything to do this early without DS! At this point, I'm making shirts or putting together Ziplocs with each day's outfit for him. Now I'm just twiddling my thumbs. :rotfl: Well, not really, but that's what it seems like!!

We just found out we'll be going to NYC (DS's first trip there!) the day after I get back. My great-grampa has some photographs that will be part of an exhibition at MoMA, so we're headed out for the opening. Talk about a busy week. This pretty much alleviates any guilt about DS not going to WDW, though. ;) :rotfl:

I'm down to 18 days!

8 days and packing up a storm. I can't believe it.

:cool1: :woohoo: :yay:  :cheer2: :dance3: party: :dancer: :jumping1:

I kept meaning to ask you what a Badookie was so I finally clicked the link and I get it now. My daughter (also a Jillian) used to be in love with Woody from Toy Story. We searched everywhere but the fad had gone and we couldn't buy one for her. However, friends of ours had a little boy, David who had one that he said Jillian could borrow. To this day I'll remember her asking to go to their house so she could 'play with David's Woody'. My husband just about fainted. :rotfl2: Gotta save that one for her wedding speech.

OMG!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA That's the BEST story! That IS a good one for the wedding speech. Or at least the rehearsal dinner! LOL

When my kids were young, my son received a GI Joe for Christmas and my daughter a Barbie. At naptime DD had GI Joe with her. When bedtime came around she wanted it again. I explained that it was her brother's. She complained and then I showed her all of her stuffed animals and dolls that she could sleep with. She said, "But I want a man to sleep with." Yippee. She's 17 now.

And to stay on topic - 24 more days until my WDW trip.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

19 days until Disney. Staying at POFQ. 12th Disney vacation, 5th trip in March, 1st at Moderates, husband's 4th trip (3rd with me!).

Sheri that is too funny. My step dad comes up with nicknames for everyone my sister is Monkey Luca Badookie me Jillian gilgaphone? I am not sure he was in his right mind when he gave me mine:rotfl2:

Woody was a gift from a very kind disbuddy she sent him in the mail and now he is hooked.

Too funny! Kids never cease to amuse me. I absolutely love going on vacation with my kids. The boys go off with dad and my DD Jillian, now 14, and I get to spend time together. No friends, no cell phones and no distractions. It's wonderful.

18 days to go!

I was being so good about not letting myself get too excited, but at about 2 1/2 weeks to go, I let loose... Now the days and minutes can't pass quickly enough! I'm ADDICTED to checking discussion boards, thinking about what to pack, etc. If anyone figures out how to travel through time, I'd like to skip ahead to March 7th, please! What's worse, we haven't even told our kids yet, and it's making me crazy to keep a secret this big!:yay:

:surfweb: For all of you wondering about the weather during your trip, might I recommend AccuWeather.com? You can get the forcast 15 days out, and their "real feel" predictions are usually right on. (That's basically a prediction about what the air temperature will feel like taking into consideration wind, etc.) I'm ready to bake my northern skin in the sun a little :woohoo:

My son received a "Woody" doll on Christmas morning when he was 2. He brought him with us to my in-laws (who lived next door) to wake them up (something we did every year on Christmas morning) and he jumped up and down in the middle of their bed screaming, "Paw Paw, I got a woody!!!!" It was HILARIOUS!!!!! :rotfl2:

10 DAYS TILL OUR ADULT TRIP TO THE WORLD!!!!

That's hysterical. I'm still laughing... Gotta tell my daughter that one. She's getting pretty tired of my telling her story!!! :lmao:

Wow! An adult only trip? What a concept!!!

We have 320 DISers going to DW next month. New list tomorrow.

7 days and counting-cannot wait to get to Disney again with my son. Going to try some different things this time. :cool1: :jumping2: :tigger:
