**** official june 2015 thread! **** come check in!

I am going with my DS(9) to celebrate his birthday 6/6-6/10 while hubby attends a conference. We are staying at Desert Palm Hotel & Suites.

One month from today we will finally be "home". I'm realizing all of the new night time entertainment is really going to be a challenge with planning. Since we're staying onsite, I insist on being in the parks at 7am, so we will really have to sleep during our afternoon breaks. DDs are really looking forward to BB and Fantasmic. Now I just saw a little preview of WOC....I was gonna skip it, but how can I??? Do you think a dining package is necessary for WOC?? Such wonderful problems to contemplate. :teeth:

Sounds like the conference I will be attending (AWWA)... and getting in park time whenever I can! :-)

Happy Birthday to your DS!

Did anyone else watch the live stream of the parade and fireworks last night? I cried! I can't wait for our trip now!

I am so excited for our trip. We are going 6/6-6/10 (in parks on the 7th-9th). Hoping it isn't REALLY crazy since they have been pushing the 60th on TV here in the Bay Area....

I cried, too! I only watched the Paint the Night parade, it looked so magical! I can't wait to see it all in person, just 13 days now! :donald:

I think they are pushing the 60th all over. We're in Denver and commercials are all over TV and radio.

5 weeks from today!!

We arrive 3 weeks from today, and our first day in the parks is the following day, June 13. As it's our first trip to Disneyland, I'm resisting watching any of the videos of the night time shows. We've never seen any of them to begin with. I want to experience them in person first. It's so hard though! My friends are posting links on Facebook and I'm so tempted to click. Must be strong! Finally noticed that Ridemax opened our dates today too, so I'll be playing with that over the long weekend. Can't wait!!!

Hey everybody, I'm kind of late to the party. We will be going June 15-19 staying at fairfield marriott. I will be celebrating my 20 birthday on the 16. It is just me my mom and best friend going. It will be my best friends first trip to Disney. I have been begging her to come with us for over 3 years so I'm kind of excited about that.

27 days to go. Just playing around with ridemax and just waiting lol.
I hope all the June holiday people have a safe and awesome trip.

Going to be there 6/10-11. Anyone want to share a vip tour guide? 6 hour minimum so it's pricey.

Hm...Mousewait is showing the Matterhorn has a 90 minute wait already at 10:30 am! Granted, it's a holiday weekend today, but it has me a bit nervous for our plans to go on the Matterhorn when we're there in 2 weeks. Maybe we'll skip it and try it next time.

For those of you with early June trips, would you please share your Paint the Night, Fireworks, and WOC experiences (crowd levels, strategies, etc)?

I'm worried that all of the advice I've read on the boards will be null and void because of their popularity.

Also, if anyone does the WOC CC dining, I would love to know if you're being redirected to the CC viewing area only.

Will do! I'm not going to be able to do WOC CC dining, as my plans keep changing (in a good way, with friends joining me now). I'm trying to find online where people are recommending to stand for PTN and DLF fireworks. It may just be hit and miss. Good thing I'll probably have more than one night to experience them!

Do single rider perhaps? That's our Matterhorn strategy every visit. Between DH, DD, and I, we usually only have to wait 2-3 minutes until the whole party has made it down the mountain. (And 2-3 minutes is the perfect amount of time to allow me to check facebook or the DIS while in DLR!)
