*****Official (??) June 2014 Thread -- Party Like It's Hot!*****

Your avatar should be Merida, Katie, cuz you are brave! I've never done WDW pregnant & certainly not with a 5 & 7 yr old along! Hope you have a magical time :wizard:

I believe you. I always loved car trips with my parents. Of course that usually meant I got time to sit and read for 2-3 days and no laundry/chores. Plus we ate out a lot. We hardly ever did at home.

It still is all about the food! I get a bunch of different snacks for the car and they look forward to eating at Chick Fil A a couple times, since we don't have any around here.

Hi everyone! I will be going in June too! It will be myself, my husband and two girls (6 and 7). We will be at Bay lake Tower this trip. I am pregnant so we will be just doing a slow relaxing trip. Hope everyone has a great trip! :)

I was pregnant for our honeymoon in 2009 and we had my DD (who was 4) with us. We were married in June, but waited until October figuring it would be cooler. Yeah- it was 95+ the whole week. :rolleyes2 It hit 100 one day. I was 16wks pregnant. It wasn't too bad, though. We sat a lot, indoors- had free dining we upgraded to Deluxe so we got to sit down in A/C for each meal and lots of snacks.

When we went in late May 2010, my son was 6 weeks old. It was not bad at all.

We drive down and I always look forward to that time with the kids (it really is fun - honest:)

We drive too and I love the time spent with the family also, although my DH says he would like to fly just one time to see what it's like. The drive is a big part of what I consider to be our vacation!

Joining in! Just dawned on me to look for a June group.

What do you look forward to most on your next trip? Doing a few different things we've not done before

We did our first cruise on the Fantasy last year. My dd fell in love with it (as did I) so we talked about trying out a different ship. Since the Dream was only doing 3 or 4 nighters, I decided might as well do a few days in the parks too. It will have been a few years since we've been to WDW so I'm really excited to see new Fantasyland and the other new things since our last visit.

Welcome,Will:-) We will be just across the bridge at AoA from May 30 thru June 6! There are six of us. Are you guys also to the point where you have to get 2 rooms? Or is one of you still young enough to get a crib or airbed?

I just saved 149.00 on my Nemo suite for June 18-24! Letting you all know since my dates aren't included in the discounts released today. Might be worth checking you dates!!

April 2013- All Star Music

Early dates are included in the new deals- the website says to June 15th- I had a Nemo suite for 7-13. I called and with the new deal I got $481 off to switch to Lion King or Cars. So now we'll be in Lion King. I *lurve* Nemo, but dh liked Lion King slightly better so that's ok. It's still Disney and it's a good chunk of change to save! :thumbsup2

One thing- the phone number on the deals page was automatically Spanish (ending in 7716). I can't understand it that well- my Spanish is beyond rusty- but it went fine once I got to a CM (she was bilingual).

Hello All! DH surprised me with a trip to the World (5/31 -- 6/4) for Christmas and if that wasn't enough, our TA just emailed that she had snagged a discount offer that included an EXTRA DAY of park tickets!!! :cool1:

So, now what could we possibly do with that extra day??? :cloud9:

Where Will You Be Staying?: CBR
Travel Party: DH, DS (14), DD (12), & me
Current Location: GA
Favorite Disney Character: Belle
Favorite Disney Movie: Beauty and the Beast
How Many Trips?: this will be our 4th
On-Site or Off?:
Best Disney Story: During the Year of a Million Dreams, in 2008 DD was selected as "Princess of the Day" at the carousel, lead to the front of the line, received a certificate, crown and front of the line pass to any one attraction in the park. We used that to meet the Princesses (bypassing a VERY long line :goodvibes). This was the most magical time for us! Priceless!
What do you look forward to most on your next trip? ALL OF IT!!! ;)

We have to have 2 rooms, but that's fine. My youngest is 15 and he likes to take up a whole bed anyway, lol.

Thank you so much!! :) I am a bit nervous about it but I think we will do great my husband loves to do the rides and we are lucky my girls each like different rides so we should be able to easily swing the rides. I am a bit nervous about the heat and how it will be with me but I plan on just going slow and drinking a lot of water and taking pool breaks. :) Hope you have a great trip as well!! :)

It has been quite a few years since we made the 4 person cut-off for booking only one room, too! My kids are 20, almost 18 ( its her HS grad trip), 16, and almost 8. It's the graduate who doesn't like to share a bed! Right now we are booked for a suite at AoA, but I am pretty sure we will have to change to two LM rooms. I thought the suites had pull out chairs so not everyone would have to double up, but apparently that's not the case :-P!

I think all of us end of June-ers should change the lyrics of a famous disney song to.... "Some day my discount will come......" Lol

So is anyone else doing something new for their June trip? New experiences, restaurants, tours, braving a new ride? I booked us for a fireworks cruise on June 2nd!! So excite for this! It is called Pirates and Pals and has a Peter Pan theme. The blurb says you will meet Hook and Smee ( who we have NEVER encountered) and then do the cruise during Wishes and then meet a special character, who DD hopes will be Peter Pan ( she would prefer the Peter Pan from Once Upon a Time but loves the Disney version, too)!!:-D
