Okay everyone. I guess I am a bit confused. I just found out on this thread recently that you can book your reservations 180 + 10 out for dining if you are staying in a Disney resort. I just don't quite understand how you do it. When I look on the website it shows now that you can make reservations now through June 8th. We are checking in on 6/21, so can you tell me when I can make a reservation? Can I do it online. I am sorry to sound so out of it, but we have only made a couple of dining reservations on previous trips and I just want to make sure I understand how this works. Thanks!!
You should be able to book for your whole trip beginning on your six month mark, so June 21!!!
Call to make them for the 180+10.
Also don't forget to join the Facebook group.
I'm confused too. We are going 6/2 -6/16. Right now I can only make reservations on the Dining system until 6/10. I should be able to do my whole vacation, but I can't. They release it a day at a time for me. I have missed some significant dining times so far. Have not been able to get Ohana OR BOG
We're you able to make the reservations? You should be able to make them through the app or by calling.
I called. I could NOT make reservations past 6/10 on the app. The CM told me when I called that you can only make reservations 180 +10 by phone, not by the app. SO, that means I missed my whole reservation period basically. The reservations for BOG and Ohana are gone. I'm sorely disappointed in this. I had no idea I had to call. I thought it was all set up on the app. I also had no idea that you can now make Dessert Party reservations 180 days out. That used to be hit or miss around the 60 day mark--and sometimes closer than that. So many changes--just since August 2013, which is the last time we went. I am hoping for a BOG closer to time. My son is graduating from high school and he really wants to go to BOG. But, if it doesn't work out, there's always next year.

Instead of getting up really early and driving 10.5 hours on Friday, May 30 and being exhausted, we've decided to leave after I get off work on Thursday afternoon. We can drive about 6-7 hours, get a hotel, and be at WDW by lunchtime on Friday! We'll eat a quick lunch and get FP+ for three rides at AK that afternoon before checking in at Port Orleans Riverside!![]()
This sounds like a great first day! People think its weird to plan vacation days down to hours this far in advance! But it helps me picture the day and what we might be doing and lets me borrow a little pre-Disney magic :-D
It is quite costly! I sometimes gauge big purchases by the cost, as in "Wow, that's almost as much as a trip to Disney!" But whenever I think about cancelling a trip to save money or to allow us to do something else, I look back on our WDW picture books (my DD20 has made one for every trip since she got her camera 6 yrs ago), and know its so worth it! I even told DH that we could probably go to London for about the same price, and he replied, "I would rather go to Disney"!!
