Well it's official, our trip is cancelled. After much debate my wife and I decided to push out our trip to 2015. There's a slim chance we could do Thanksgiving week in 2014, but it's not real likely.

When everyone else cancelled we started looking at it closer and while SWW was enticing, the cost for a June trip versus other parts of the year are pretty insane. I'm also changing jobs which will affect our budget and we may just not be able to afford it.

I tried to talk my wife into going without the kids, but she wasn't having anything of it and switched gears completely and said that she really wanted to take a trip just the two of us to a place where we can relax. Almost all of our vacations are "doing" vacations and we get back more tired than when we left. She's kind of wanting to find a beach/pool where we can have cocktails delivered and just relax.

I'm kind of bummed because we have *so* much fun when we are at Disney, but at the same time I'm kind of looking forward to something different and it'll give some time to see how some of this MyMagic+ stuff shakes out. By the time we're ready to go touring plans and strategies will be updated and we won't be the guinea pigs for it.

Good luck to everyone planning their trips. I hope you get all the pixie dust you need for ADRs and FP+ and travel. I may poke back in here next June to see pictures from your trips!

I have a question that is not really getting answered anywhere. I am going to purchase our tickets next month. If I purchase them online from Disney will I get a code or number that I can plug into MDE right then, or will I have to wait until the actual tickets arrive by mail?

If you are signed in when you purchase them I believe they will show up automatically in MDE and then you can link them to yourself or other family and friends linked on your account. I don't know this with any certainty because I bought my tickets through UCT but everything else I have done through the site has worked that way for my December trip

Last year (pre Mb) the ones I bought from Disney I just picked up at the resort. They just put them on the KTTW card so I assume it would be the same now. Provided they continue to provide KTTW cards, rumor is they will be stopping T some point

Hopefully the option of still sending them to our home is available. My DDs boyfriend will be coming with us. We are purchasing his ticket. Just in case there is a change of plans (break-up, work, family) I would like to have his ticket in hand so we can use it another time.

I know it is probably not needed - but I would still feel better.

Have you stayed at a Windsor Hills home before? We also have a house June 7-14, 2014. We have always stayed on site. What are the pros and cons of Windsor Hills?

Takes us five years to save up so we don't get to do this as often as we like but this is our happy place so its worth waiting for.

Wanted to post as so nice to read a thread where everyone is happy!! No moaning about fp+ or queues or crowds....just people really really excited about their holiday.

Our kids are now in their twenties but none of us will ever forget the first time...absolute and complete magic!!!! We are all coming back and we just cant wait for our ritual first day....check in at the POFQ an then straight to MK...grab a hot dog at caseys and then off to POTC!! ROLL ON JUNE!!

I agree it is nice to hear all of the Disney love and excitement! We are all so happy to be going back in June There's a possibility that we may get a bonus day before then. My DD15's chorus is singing in the Candlelight performances at Epcot and WDW gives each performer a one day, one park ticket so they can come back on a nonperformance day and enjoy. She's signing up for 5 trips so that would leave only one ticket to buy!

Best Disney Story: Getting engaged in 2007 after making a wish in front of Cinderella's fountain was pretty special! TR link in my signature if you want the all the details.
What do you look forward to most on your next trip? Relaxing. It will be our five year anniversary and we are going to make it a point to relax more. Our last trip was in October 2013 and we had other people with us, so we made it a point to show them everything in the parks. Needless to say, they were only with us for 4 days...so: 4 days + 4 parks = GO GO GO!! We are ready to take it slow, enjoy our favorites in the park, and really take advantage of the Epcot Resort area, not to mention Stormalong Bay. So excited!

I agree with you. This is why I try to stay away from those parts of the DIS. Would rather hear about people's plans and being excited vs. all the negativity.

Hi everyone! Haven't been on here in awhile. Welcome to Anjalee and Suzanne.
Sorry Anjalee for the loss of your mother.
Still planning on going, but it's been a rough year. DH lost his job so one day I say go because I need the stress relief and the next day I think about the expense and have second thoughts. But as of now we still have ressies!
So let the planning begin. If can't go in June (which working retail, never know what month inventory will be in, so we plan for June) will change to another month if necessary.
We are doing QS this time with one or two TS worked in. Hoping not to be so rushed trying to get to ADR's. But will miss the food.

Hello everyone! My family is planning our third Disney World trip May 30 - June 5, 2014! DW and I will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary on June 3rd. We will be joined by our DS17 and DD14. Can't wait!

Your dates pretty much match ours! The last time we went in late May/early June the weather was great, we got free dining, and the crowds were very manageable until the last 2 days! I don't expect any discounts this time since DDsoon-to-be-18 is the celebrant (her HS graduation) and wants to stay in the Little Mermaid section of AoA (the only rooms on Disney property excluded from every discount--even military!) But she's always been the
