Yes, I wouldn't dream of leaving without my license and insurance card. Was just reading the article here about the top 10 things you should take with you in the parks. #1 on the list is to carry ID. Just thought I'd throw that up here. Heard someone before complain because they didn't bring ID, then got carded for alcohol. Guess what they couldn't get? Must say that I've never been carded (and I've been accused of being the daughter of my sister-in-law, who is 10 years younger than me), but, just in case. I also carry my insurance card with me, just because you never know what could happen.

I will have those and two credit cards. Maybe a small amount of cash. A camera, phone, itouch, charger, pain reliever, and epi pens. DH carries the water bottles, snacks, plastic bags, and hand sanitizer for us.
Hey, anyone have a good product they use AFTER they get sunburned? I hope it won't happen but I think I should be ready. What do you use?

alright, photobucket it is. Here are those hairclips i ordered. I only put one bobby pin in my hair for the test but there will be two others up higher along with the hairtie. I may not be a blonde but i'm gonna feel like elsa one way or another on my birthday:

I had a revolt some years back and started bringing a small purse to parks. O used to be the one carrying the big bag to hold everything. DH wants his water so is willing to carry the backpack. When the boys were teens and came with us, they and DH would all take turns with it. I was in charge of everyone's APs and FPs and pictures.Fruit of the Earth has an aloe vera lotion that (to me) is the best stuff for a sunburn, ever. It is in a white bottle with a blue top, and a trial size version is usually sold at Disney resorts' general stores for under $3. The only other place I've seen it is CVS, same size, and I think it may have been more expensive there than at Disney.
Impressive that you manage to get someone else to share pack mule duties. I always carry my backpack and carry everything for everyone. DD wants to carry a purse with a crossbody strap. I don't have a problem with it, but we have the rule that if you carry it out of the room, you carry it the rest of the day. We'll see how long her carrying it lasts.

We have a big book of Imponderables and it discusses the Goofy and Pluto are dogs. I know the episode you are describing. Many folks have thought Pete was a dog (reminds me of Butch from Tom and Jerry), but if you get a chance to see some of the black and white cartoons, his ears are more pointy and a few have his long tail.
I just do not understand the Goofy and Clarabelle relationship. She is a cow. He is a dog. I don't see it's going to work. Of course in the older cartoons, she and he both appear more horse like.
I love cartoons! Of course, I get to blame it on the little guy.
Tomorrow is the big day for driving. Have to pick DH up in Indianapolis and then we will head south. The truck always goes to the yard up there, but sometimes his partner can take it up and DH "jumps" off the rig closer to the house.
Almost all packed up!
Bag Balm works wonders for most dry, injured skin issues. I have never had luck with Aloe Vera, but that's just me. There is also Udder Cream. It's white jar with black spots. We grew up using tea bags on the sunburn. It's funny to think about--steeping in a bath tub with tea bags. Then we were deep rubbed with Noxzema.

Anyone else bringing someone who has never been to Disney World before?
For those who are there now, how has the weather been? We leave in 4 days and I've been so excited but the weather report right now is stating up to 80% chance of rain for 4 of the days we are there and 40-50% chance the rest of the time. I'm kind of getting disappointed. I have never travelled in June before so I don't know how accurate this report is and if it just means a shower here or there or full on thunderstorms. Any thoughts?
