***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

We'll be there from the 4th - 8th. It's our first time to stay at the PC, or any value for that matter. We have only stayed at the CBR and the WL, and we are totally in love with the WL.[/QUOTE]

Are you going to be at DHS on the 8th for Star Wars weekends? :) I think you will like Pop if you go in to it with the right expectations. The Deluxe and Mods are way quieter than the values but we love the action at Pop. When we stayed at SSR a few years back my husbands only complaint was that it was too quiet. He likes all the excitement at Pop. :lmao:

We are checking into Pop on the 6th. We love it there its our favorite resort. This is our first time staying at the Gran Floridian for the first part of our stay, hope we don't get spoiled. It is always a party when you pay off a trip.:woohoo: Makes it feel more real!

We're checking in at Pop on June 6th too. DH and I love it there and he chose it this time, we are taking his parents with us.

We got spoiled at Boardwalk in January, but still love coming back to Pop. I couldn't justify the BWI cost for the little time we would spend there with the longer park hours, and because DH volunteered for us to pay for the room...men!

I've got the money to pay off our trip, but right now, we have a room only that may change to a package as soon as my plans become set in stone, but that may not happen until a few days before. I don't want to tie up all of our money if we have to change it to a package, because they can't transfer the payment to a package, which is crazy.

I didn't think of that, but I don't think the DH would go for it. I'm sure he'll see it as a chance to get more sleep since I'm sure he will be up late the night before raiding. I was the one that told her that they were having exams on the last day of school. At first she was like, "well, it depends on if they are having exams that day or not as to how early they will get out".

We love Pop. We loved WL until we stayed at the Boardwalk, even my DH admitted he loved it over WL, I was so shocked I almost fell out!

I was going to say we would be at DHS on the 8th, but then remembered it's my birthday and I chose MK and we have an early breakfast, but we might swing over that way late morning, depends on the rest of the group. We have dinner at Raglan Rd and then it's EMH at MK until 1am, but we plan to hit DHS/SWW on the 9th and then head home after the parade.

:welcome: We will be there at the same time. Seems like a lot of people are going earlier in June. Can't wait to start the double digit dance in 16 more days (I think).

YAY! I've been practicing my double digit moves...:cool1:

I must be the only person not excited about this being a Leap Year...I don't want an extra day before my trip!

lol That will be fun having his parents there. I agree we usually can't justify the cost of the higher priced resorts because we are never in our room. We are park commandos most of the time. We lucked out this year and I won one of the OMDD prizes so we only had to come up with money for our extra nights at Pop. The rest is on the mouse! :woohoo:

We are catching the SWW parade on the 8th but are heading over to the MK that night for EMHs too! Well happy early birthday! You are going to have an awesome day!! :goodvibes We celebrated my daughters at WDW last year and it was amazing. Have you eaten at Ragland Raod before? It's sooo good.

Thank you. I'm not sure how I feel about his parents going, but it ought to be fun. I love spending my birthday at MK, we have driven down just to do that before. I will have to hop though, we have hit 3 parks in 1 day for my birthday before, probably won't with his parents there, they're still relatively young though.

We ate at Raglan Rd for the first time in January and love it, that was the best meal we had the entire week, well besides Yachtsman.

Are you in Northwest ISD? I work in LISD(middle school level) and our last day is also semester exams and we dismiss at 12:30 which is 3 and a half hours early. I would assume your should be out by 1:00. I bet they can tell you what time they get out....they just did not want to go to the trouble of finding out. Call the main district office....they will tell you.

I don't know why I just saw this today. Yes they are in Northwest ISD, at Pike MS to be specific. I didn't even think about trying the district office. Thank you so much!! I'll have to do that today. We transfered from Keller to Northwest and I love Northwest so much more!!! The only problem I have ever had with the school is more with the Durham busing. I just have an issue with the bus driver having her, young enough to be a carrier type car seat, grandchild on the bus with her. The buses don't have seatbelts and a student sits next to the child to hold it in the seat on turns ans stuff.

Just found this thread. Booked my air tickets, confirmed the accommondation.
We will be going 6/8-6/16 staying at Bonnet Creek. 1st time going back w/ DH after 14years, bringing my 2 DS (5 & 9) and another family of 4.:banana::banana:so excited. my 9yr DS want to be at DHS for the Star War week.
Now time to book the dinning, any suggestions for character dinning for boys?:grouphug:

:welcome:

My boys had fun when we went to both Chef Mickey's and the 'Ohana Stitch character breakfast. On the first trip they were 5 & 6 and the 2nd trip they were 7 & 8.

Ugh!! If I can't find my plaid mini backpack, I'm going to have to buy one. I was talking to my DH about finding some sun screen small enough to fit into my Mickey D&B bag. He said, "oh you don't have to worry about that. You're not taking that to WDW." I had bought the black mini Margot specifically to take to WDW. He think it's "too expensive of a purse to take to a theme park".

Even though I didn't think we were going to be able to swing a trip to WDW this year, it looks like we are! We will be there June 13-22!! :cool1:

90 days herE!!!!I just posted a PTR .....so excited!!!!!!!! Going for my birthday!!!! YAY!!!!

Forgot to mention we'll be at Windsor Hills June 13-17 (first time staying here!) and Old Key West June 17-22! We only had enough DVC points for 5 nights at OKW, so we're trying out Windsor Hills.

Pop Century! And I just found out my DBF is coming too! It was supposed to be a surprise but I accidentally found out

oh what a fun surprise...I keep dreaming that I land in Orlando and my sister and her family are there too...hahaha no going to happen, but it's nice to dream
