***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

Thanks to the IRS for the quick deposit... June trip is officially paid for!! Now we just have to wait 4 months. :rolleyes1

You should call and check....I got a free dining pin for June.

Hmmm, well I added the dining plan over the phone and wasn't told about it (not that they advertise those things, or do they?). My trip is at the end of June though, so it's probably peak. Guess it doesn't hurt to call and ask...

I'm thinking about adding dining, but I will probably do that last minute after my in-laws get to town and I have confirmation of the actual days DH has off work, that is if they will let him have any more time off considering he will possibly be coming off AT. I don't like waiting until the last minute!

Free dining would only work for us if we only had to purchase a 1 day base ticket then we could upgrade it to the military 4 day hopper.

The DH just paid off our trip. I love looking at the balance of $0.00!! Now I just have to figure out how to learn to be patient for the next 95 days.

We're at 99 days, I am excited, I just hope it gets to happen. Waiting on approval for time off from DH's boss.

I have a co-worker going in 4 weeks, she now wishes she had waited until May or June, because they will miss SWW, which she thought was in March.

92 days here and the suspense is killing me! Patience is NOT my strong suit!

That is one thing that I really love about DH working for his dad's business. For the most part, he can have off whenever he wants. The only dates that he has been told that he can't have any time off is between November and December. They are usually super busy then.

Too bad your co-worker is going to miss SWW. Our first two days are the only SWW days of our trip.

We're at 90 days....patience isn't one of my strong suits either!!!

Me either, but then I guess it gives me time to plan the before and after part of WDW. Now I'm thinking of leaving right as the DSs get out of school and spending one night at Gulf Shores, AL. My family used to go there when I was a kid, and I would to take a picture on the beach with my boys for my mom.

Ugh, I'm just so annoyed at the DS's school right now.:headache: I thought I would take a break from school work and call their school to see what time they are going to be let out of school on the last day. All the calendar says is that it's an early release and semester exam day (didn't notice the exam part earlier). I was hoping they would be out no later than 11 AM. They couldn't tell me for sure what time they were getting out that day, but guess-timated 1:00-1:15 PM. I was planning on getting them out earlier if they went that late, but I can't b/c of the semester exams. This is their first year in this district. I just have never heard of doing anything on the last day of school, especially having exams. You would think that since they can tell me what days my kids will be in school in not only the 2012-2013 school year, but the 2013-2014 school year, they would at least know what time they were getting out on the last day of this year.

oh well, at least he DH is even more excited about our trip since we paid it off yesterday. He hasn't been this excited since BioWare finally announced the release date for Star Wars: the Old Republic.

ok, rant over...now back to psych and history homework.

Well, his job told him he could be off sometime in June since his parents are coming from California and we don't see them often, but then the Army went and changed his AT dates so he arrives home 2 days after they arrive here, it was supposed to take place April 20 til May 3, but now is supposed to be May 18 til June 2. He only wants 3 days off, he never calls out, and he's always on time, but he is really the only person that does his job, although they have others that can fill in. I don't know, we'll see what happens.

Yeah, but she did say it was an excuse to go again...my thoughts exactly!!! Our last 2 days will be the last weekend of SWW, but we can see and do what we want from opening until after the parade, then we head home.

That's ridiculous. We never did anything on the last day of school, except maybe have a party and I think we cleaned our books and turned them in, depended on how the previous days went with exams, but we never did real school work on the last day.

If I remember correctly, at their school last year, they were allowed to bring DVDs to school to watch the last couple of days. They didn't do anything. They were just really there, to be counted as being there for state funding reasons. Maybe this will work otu for the better. It gives me and the DH time to load the car, and by that what I really me is "it gives me time to load the car and the DH time to sleep even though he won't be driving at all".

I swear, all this school work, after 8 weeks off, makes me Grumpy.

Are you in Northwest ISD? I work in LISD(middle school level) and our last day is also semester exams and we dismiss at 12:30 which is 3 and a half hours early. I would assume your should be out by 1:00. I bet they can tell you what time they get out....they just did not want to go to the trouble of finding out. Call the main district office....they will tell you.

.

We, too, have exams on the last day. No fun allowed here. However, If the students are leaving for a trip, then can take them early. Did you try to ask?

Finally paid off! Flights are booked!! ADR's are made!!
Im having everyone make a list of their Top Ten "must-do's".
And I already bought some new t-shirts from the Disney store for me and the kids!

:welcome: We will be there at the same time. Seems like a lot of people are going earlier in June. Can't wait to start the double digit dance in 16 more days (I think).

Looks like you'll be at the Pop, at the same time that we will be there.

I can't wait for the DH to get home from work today!! The bank finally released our tax return. The DH doesn't want me to pay the trip off until he gets home from work. He wants to make a little party out of it. Which wouldn't be as bad, if he worked set hours. He's self employed and is an appliance repair man. All I know is that he has 5 calls to do today. I'm going to attempt to do school work to keep myself from going crazy watching the clock, and drive him crazy be calling him checking on him.

We are checking into Pop on the 6th. We love it there its our favorite resort. This is our first time staying at the Gran Floridian for the first part of our stay, hope we don't get spoiled. It is always a party when you pay off a trip.:woohoo: Makes it feel more real!

I didn't think of that, but I don't think the DH would go for it. I'm sure he'll see it as a chance to get more sleep since I'm sure he will be up late the night before raiding. I was the one that told her that they were having exams on the last day of school. At first she was like, "well, it depends on if they are having exams that day or not as to how early they will get out".

We'll be there from the 4th - 8th. It's our first time to stay at the PC, or any value for that matter. We have only stayed at the CBR and the WL, and we are totally in love with the WL.
