***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

Thanks so much! She is getting married at the Wedding Pavilion in June 2013. We are just getting started on the planning and it is very exciting.

Sounds wonderful :cloud9:

Our oldest was married 2 years ago this past Sept but I couldn't convince her to have her wedding at Disney :confused3

My other DD (17) who travels with me loves Disney as much as I do. So hopefully some day we will have a Disney wedding with her :goodvibes

My oldest DD (24) did give me the best birthday present ever by telling me I'm gonna be a Grandma for the first time :cloud9:

Can't wait to go shopping for baby clothes in June by then we will know if she's having a princess or a pirate ;)

We have our trip finalized, well at least the WDW part. My DH got in another one of those funky moods where he wanted to talk about the trip (I just wish he got them more often:lmao:). He wanted to talk about the ADRs and we went over menus for every single one. He made me change a few, but there were a couple that I just wouldn't budge on.
As of now, our ADRs are:
6/4/12
Lunch - Yak & Yeti
Dinner - Fulton's Crab House

6/5/12
Lunch - Biergarten
Dinner - Restaurant Marrakesh

6/6/12
Lunch - Mama Melrose's
Dinner - Le Cellier

6/7/12
Lunch - Liberty Tree Tavern
Dinner - California Grill (ADR is for 9:20 PM on a night Wishes starts at 10PM, so hopefully, we'll be eating during the fireworks.)

6/8/12
Late Breakfast - Chef Mickey's

Surprisingly, it was my DH that insisted that we do Chef Mickey's for breakfast.
Now we just need to plan the drive there and back.

Love your dining choices we also have Le Cellier, Mama Melrose, California Grill and Chef Mickey booked. We are trying Fulton's for the first time. Have you eaten there before? If so how was it?

Just added QS dining to our 6/25-6/30 vacation at POFQ, bummer it's not free in June. Now that we're all booked up, it's "hurry up and wait" mode for the next 4 months.

It seems to pass the time better if I log in to the Disney site every few hours and just glance at our reservation. ;)

We'll be there at the same time! I wanted to stay at POFQ but we can't anymore with three kids ( DH and I love it there ) We will be in the tower at CR and Shades of Green the day of arrival ( 24 th ) . The waiting is taking forever !

We are only doing 3 TS restaurants. It's just too dang hot to eat like that and I would not onyl be miserable from teh heat, but miserable from eating.

We arrive early in the morning of June 6th, check into Pop and probably have breakfast at the resort before we head to Epcot, or at least that's my plan.

June 7th:

Kouzzina Breakfast

June 8th: My birthday

Crystal Palace Breakfast
Raglan Rd Dinner

We're taking my in-laws and Dh advised them that we would be paying for the hotel, so that cut my budget a little, but I don't like to eat alot that time of year anyway. This wil be their first time there and I am not sure how they will want to eat. We did alot of eating in January and I just didn't want to this time, although I really want to add Yachtsman, it was outstanding, as was Raglan Rd. I just don't know what the in-laws can afford.

Maybe once they get here, I can talk about it more. I may go ahead and make a reservation at Yachtsman, just in case.

I guess we try to eat at off times, so we haven't really experienced long lines at the CS places. I think I really hit the snacks more when it's so hot. A nice popsicle hits the spot, or a pretzel.

That sounds like a great way to surprise the boys. Our trip sort of started out as a visit to Daytona and I worked my way down to WDW, I mean it is MY birthday, I think I should get to pick where we go. I would go nuts being at the beach and only 1 hour from WDW. I'm not even sure we will make it to Daytona now, unless we go that way home.

I just didn't want to have to deal with finding a table. I hated doing that on our last trip. The last thing I want to do when I am hot and tired is try and find a table. I'm just an odd bird like that. Most of the QS places we ate at last time, we didn't have any trouble with. Then we went to Tusker House (I think it was) in the AK, and it was a nightmare. Super long lines to order food and it was a nightmare trying to find a table. We finally ended up outside, where every couple of minutes someone would ask us "how much longer are you going to be at this table?", even while we were still eating.
It's a good way to extend a vacation. We had to move in with my DH's parents to help with his mom's health issues. Well now, it's not just his mom, but his dad. I plan to sit my rear on the beach and not move. It'll be a nice change from the crazy everyday life I have now. I swear it's like I'm the mom to 2 more kids, except these kids are adults, and I can't tell them what to do.

That's sounds amazing!! I bet the planning is going to be a blast.

We have never eaten there, but I have been wanting to try it. I thought about changing it for Jiko, but I think the DSs will be happier with Fulton's.

Congratulations! A grandbaby - how exciting!:cloud9: I can't wait for the day I can take my grandchildren to WDW. :goodvibes

Brittany didn't want a Disney wedding at first either even though both families are huge Disney fans. She even met her fiance on a Disney cruise 7 years ago and both families have traveled to WDW and been on several cruises together. But after looking at the options at Disney she decided that it was what she wanted. She is not going for a "Disney" themed wedding but a nice elegant affair at Disney World.

Good luck with your shopping in June!

My DD7 announced this weekend that she wanted to be surprised with our next Disney trip...like tell them in the car when we are leaving to go to the airport surprised . She knows we're going this year because I've talked about it, but she says she doesn't know exactly when.

Guess this means I'll be doing a lot of super secret, late night packing the week before our trip.

I wonder if free dining would be cheaper than the current room only we have? Even if we got FD, we would upgrade to the DlxDDP. I'll have to call Disney when I get back from picking my nephew up from school.

Also, I noticed your location. We live in Justin. I love the style of homes in your subdivision and then in Savannah.

Have fun with the wedding plans and your DD's Sweet 16 :bday:

We like it up here....just enough country. We had some friends just move out to Paradise, Tx....they wanted all country! I am not saving any money doing the dining plan just want the convenience.

I know exactly where Paradise it. I grew up near there in Bridgeport. If she wanted lots of country, Paradise is a good place for it. When I can actually get there, I go to church in Paradise.

So excited I just paid off a huge chunk of our vacation! I'm going insane with anticipation and trying to find things to do to pass the time til June!

I just scored a lunch reservation at Le Cellier on June 6th, I can't believe it. I know it may not be as good at Yachtsman, but I want to give it a try and since it's a late lunch, we'll need a rest by then.

Congrats!! That was a good score.

I'm so excited. Only 100 days left until my trip!!

WOO HOO!! With our trip, it depends on what day you are counting down from. If you count the day that we leave, we have 98 days left. If you count for the day that we arrive at WDW, it's our dalmatian day (101) day out.

Just wanted to say that's a pretty awesome user name.

Thank you :goodvibes It's one of my favorite lines from any movie.

I'm just so excited about tomorrow!! Our tax return got put into our account this weekend, but the bank won't release it until tomorrow. We will be able to pay off our June trip as soon as my DH gets home from work. I could do it while he's at work, but he's as excited about paying it off as I am. I don't know who shot him with the love-for-WDW-arrow, but I'm grateful they did.:lmao:

Hi! Our family will be traveling to WDW June2-10th. We are doing a split stay at the Grand Flordian and then Pop Century. Looks there are going to be a lot of Diser's there in June! :goodvibes

Looks like you'll be at the Pop, at the same time that we will be there.

I can't wait for the DH to get home from work today!! The bank finally released our tax return. The DH doesn't want me to pay the trip off until he gets home from work. He wants to make a little party out of it. Which wouldn't be as bad, if he worked set hours. He's self employed and is an appliance repair man. All I know is that he has 5 calls to do today. I'm going to attempt to do school work to keep myself from going crazy watching the clock, and drive him crazy be calling him checking on him.

Planning our summer vacation to the most wonderful vacation destination! Travel dates are set for June 1-10!! Can't wait!! I'm kind of sad we're staying off property this time but we're looking forward to staying at the All Star Vacation Homes. :)
