As a question, how much rain should we expect?

You can expect a downpour several of your days in the afternoon. 4:00ish

We always buy cheap disposable ponchos (Dollar Store), and pack 4 in a sandwich baggie for each day of our trip. We toss one baggie in the backpack each day. If we need them we have them, if we don't that's okay because they are very light to carry around. After the storm passes, we just toss them. DH has even started putting in an extra one to wrap around the backpack since the Dollar Tree ones are sometimes to small to cover him and the backpack and he doesn't want it to get soaked. Storms are a great time to move around with no crowds! You can get a lot done while many people run for the exits.

However, it is funny because we will hear people talking about a storm at AK one day, and we had no rain at MK on the same day. So, it is hit and miss. Watch the skies and be prepared.

That is so true. We got soaked at MK one day but we had friends that left AK and called them to tell them we couldn't meet up and did they get wet and they said it never rained

Thanks for the info on the rain, I'll be packing ponchos for everyone, and making sure we all have good sandals.

We're planning on going to the parks early, and late, staying at the resort or choosing an indoor activity during the day. My mom who is coming has rheumathoid arthritis and the heat is really hard on her, so I'm also looking at neck coolers, and misting fans.

But really, it won't matter, because we'll be at WDW!!

Yes we do have the same avatar don't we! I picked that because The Little Mermaid is my all time favorite Disney movie (came out my senior year of HS) and I have red hair We are staying offsite(always do) but this time since my parents are coming along we are renting a 4 bdrm townhouse and we can't wait! I will admit I am a bit nervous about the heat and crowds since we have never been down there in the summer!

Changed our dates so we're more June-ies than May-ers now.

It will be:
My family (Me - at 28 weeks pregnant, my DH, and our DS who will turn 3 the week after our trip.

and we're at VWL from 5-28 - 6-4 and CBR (Pirate Room) from 6-4 - 6-5

My in-laws (MiL, FiL, SiL, Nephew, and Husband's Grandma) will also be there staying at ASSp from 5-28 - 6-4

Yay! I booked our trip today! We actually booked the trip for the 9-18 because we just can't decide which days to stay. The CM who booked us actually suggested that we do this. Our youngest DD's birthday just so happens to fall on Father's Day this year but we aren't sure if we should skip out of our own fathers that day. Tonight, I'm making our ADR's!

My DS's birthday is 6/17 too! Told my hubby he has to share this year. LOL.

We are planning a surprise trip for my dd, 3 of her friends and their moms. 4 girls & 4 moms, and three of the girls and 2 of the moms have never been. We're staying 6/9-16 at Wyndham bonnet creek.

Got definite room confirmation dates today through RCI. We will be at Cypress Palms instead of Bonnet Creek June 23-30. We got tired of waiting for Bonnet Creek because we need to get the other travel arrangements made. So excited that I can hardly stand it. Can't hardly wait to go. Plus we have up our group from 8 to 11, manother daughter and 2 more grandchildren are going to get to go also.
