***Official June, 2012! Hot, hot, hot!!!***

Hello All!! party:
Just wondering how everyone is taking the news of Test Track being down over our trips?? I just found out yesterday and to be honest it has me a little sad. I guess being a many time June traveler I am not used to big time ride closures over my dates. My biggest concern are the wait times and FP availability for Soarin over this time. I am thinking it will get totally crazy over in the Land pavilion. Happy planning everyone and feel free to chime in with your thoughts on this....

:sad2::sad2:

Sad here too and also worried about the lines at Soarin'

Our plan has always been, DH runs for Soarin' FP while the girls and I ride MS, and then we all meet at TT. Now everyone will be running for FP for Soarin' YUCK!!! :scared1: This could turn into the TSM dash at DHS.

We will have to give this plan some more thought.

Keep in mind unless they change back to the old system there is no rope drop/pre-show at Epcot anymore. After you clear the turnstile you can go straight to Soarin. I recommend you do this as quickly and efficiently as possible. I still think it will be doable but Soarin will be out of hand well before lunch time. Definitely will be FP and ride first thing!!!

This is going to be our plan. I'm hoping that with no RD preshow it might help with the crowds a little bit first thing. Wishful thinking? Maybe so! :rolleyes1

I haven't told DD yet it's one of her favorite rides :sad2:

Hopefully being able to attend SWW will take the sting away of no TT.

Well Hello to everyone, we are officially joining in on the June 2012 group. Originally planned for July but changed it to June 22 or 23 -June 29 or 30 in order to be there for my Granddaughters 5th Birthday. Haven't decided yet where to stay, have an RCI search for Bonnet Creek or one of the Disney Properties. Ready to book dining today and hoping to be able to get what I want. Haven't booked any dining since the new credit card hold policy but I am very glad they went to that, making it easier to get what I want for dining.

Whoop Whoop! We got a free dining pin for our trip!
Yay!

I am booking with deposit tomorrow (finally talked hubby into it after we got free dining!).

Time to work on our plan!
I am sad that Test Track will be down, but excited for our NEXT trip, whenever that may be because there will be LOTS of new things to do!

Congratulations! I checking the mail daily and praying for a free dining pin this year.

I noticed two others are staying at Indian Creek. We are staying there also with my in laws and a friend of our dd. We usually stay at our timeshare but with the extra people coming thought it would be nice stay in a house.

Can't wait to have a big house and a pool all to ourselves :thumbsup2
You will LOVE it~!:thumbsup2 Indian Creek is a great location and the private pool is fantastic. We happened to find one that had a pool and hot tub that was under 1,000 for the week. This is our second stay at this house.

Bummer...I had not seen this yet. I guess it will be nice to have it updated but it sure will make a mess of things in the meantime! Maybe they could use the FP machines from TT to use for the FP machines at soarin'. FP for the FP....now that would be a time saver.:rotfl2:

So excited had to share switched from the Poly to CR Bay Lake View for our upcoming trip :dance3::banana:

Can't wait to see that gorgeous view and sleep in those comfy beds :cloud9:

 Hi joining in. We are going June 23 - July 6th staying at AKL.

So glad we will be there at the same time. Wonder how to get a master list of dates going so they could be posted on here somewhere. 2 weeks at WDW, how lucky. I'm keeping up with your trip on facebook July 2011 also, I love that group.

Well it seems like all of us so far have been very lucky with our ADRs, myself included! Feeling pretty bummed about TT though. Its our first WDW trip ever and we were really looking forward to it. I also booked Pirate's League for my family. Even the adults have decided to join in on the fun! I can't believe its 5 months until our vacation times start coming around! Anyone here been to the Spa at Saratoga Springs? The one at the GF is going to be closed and I wanted to send my hubby for a massage.

Mister Skellington we booked a 4 bedroom home for $725 for the week :thumbsup2 couldn't pass that up! Can't wait for our own pool ;)

Hey everybody! :wave2: OP here...
I am so sorry that I haven't been on this thread much at all since I started it. I've been VERY sick... 6 months in the hospital. So, it looks like we aren't going to be going in June after all. Hopefully another Christmas trip instead. :goodvibes

If I get a chance I'll try to go thru the thread and make a master list for the first post. I've just started working again, so I'm not sure when I'll have the time - but I'll try.

Thanks for the reply! I guess I should have specified, we are purchasing military tickets, so we aren't going the traditional route. I will either buy them from the base here or purchase them at Shades of Green. That means that my tickets will not be on my room key, correct?

You will pay for your tickets on base a then pick them up at shades of green.. And it will be a CC type of tickets. So your room key will be your tickets as well. If you are not staying at shades of green then you will pick up your CC type ticket at will call at any disneyworld park.

Remember.. If this is your first trip, you cannot just go to Disney world. You really need a touring plan and make all your dining reservations ASAP.
