Official JUNE 2009 Thread!!!

I hear you on the scrapbooking, I did about 5 pages on our 2006 wdw vaca and got frustrated becuase most of my pictures came out all sorts of messed up (still using a film camera than now I have gone through 3 digital cameras and have since settled on my nikon)
I meant to scrap today but never got to it. I dont have an area to put all the stuff at (cricuts are awesome though huh. Wish you could rent the cartridges)so its alot of work just to get the stuff out.

PLUS i am a moron and dyed my hair a dark brown which backfired drastically and now have black hair so i was trying to dye it again with a dye for dark hair and nothing so tomorrow I get to go to the salon (good thing my hubbie doesnt really know how much this blunder will cost )
oh well had to find something to do over the next few days.

I got my clothes from old navy today... which means i get to go saturday and return stuff ( i knew i should have slwoed down on the girl scout cookies... hard to do when you have 5000 boxes in your garage... I am a leader for 2 troops)so somehow I am filling up my days!
my husband test for master sgt tomorrow (military promotion) everyone cross their fingers for us please!!!

Really starting to freak out now! 4 days until we leave!!!!!!!! We aren't arriving until June 16th, but we are leaving, for our first driving trip to WDW, on the 15th!

Now, if I could only decide on which route to take, I95 straight down from PA, or I81,77,26, I'd be really happy!

Oh the stress!!!!!!!!

We have the same decision to make. We will take 95 down because we are stopping at Mt Vernon on Sun. We were thinking about taking the other way back just to see if there is a difference.

Alright fellow scrappers trying to complete a book before leaving on the next trip with only days to spare....

How far did you get today if you worked on it?

I'm ashamed to say that I had more than a few pages left to do...from our October trip, I'd had a whole...uh...five pages done. (You see...I had started on it and all...and then I knew I was getting a Cricut for Christmas...so I quit until I got the Cricut...and I just haven't had time to work on it...really....)

So, now, eight months later...here I am trying to get the thing finished. I like to journal my trip -- a friend said she thought it was neat when I did it for the Atlanta vacation we took two years ago. Do you know how hard it is to journal a trip eight months later when you've been planning the next trip for the last seven months? (We booked this trip approximately two weeks after we returned from the last one.) I guess I should have done that trip report after all.

At any rate, I got all of my scrapbooking stuff out this afternoon (no good place to scrap!). I've been typing up a journal of the trip (and I KNOW I'm forgetting stuff...), and my DD thinks it's playtime with all of my scrapping supplies for various scrapping projects! Stuff is EVERYWHERE! And I have to keep peeking at her to make sure she's not touching the off-limits stuff.

Only 3 pages of what feels like a million completed (so now I'm at 8 pages??), and it looks like I may have to get reprints of some of my pictures that have mysteriously disappeared!

11 days left to finish this project! 10 if you consider it's almost bedtime!(And, yes...I've bought a notebook so I can write down everything while I'm on the trip this time!)

Sounds like my life !!!! But I spent too much time on here yesterday dreaming of where I will be in 9 days....Got NOTHING done! DH is off today, might as well write today off too....

I now take notes on my trips...for journaling...I definately forget the little details!

Good luck getting it done!

Oh...and next house...SCRAP ROOM! (my dream)

Okay, so I didn't get anything done on my scrapbook. I did get some laundry done. Got the van cleaned. Taught a class at VBS. Cooked for 9 people. And got the little ones outfits matched up for the trip. I need a vacation from planning for my vacation.

First off.... 10 Days!!!

I more or less completed 7 pages last night...I'm having trouble finding some of my pictures But, of course...after I slowed up yesterday and put everything away, I found *most* of them. I'm just not sure I found all of the ones I was after...

Had a visit to the doctor this morning. I've been coughing horribly and super congested for the last week. My allergy medication didn't work, so we assumed it was a cold...until my ears, which have been stopped up since Saturday, started hurting yesterday. Diagnosis? Allergies...with an ear infection in the ear that doesn't hurt.

Oh well. time. Then scrap for a little while. Then back to town because the medication *might* be ready by then..then back for more laundry and scrappage.

Busy, busy, busy!

I forgot to mention where we are staying: POR from June 13-20. I still have way too much to do in order to be ready to leave.

OMG...somebody tell me WHY I took so many pictures in October?!?

Okay, seriously...I was really behind on my October 08 scrapbook...I'd only done, what...5 pages? Hadn't even gotten through the day of travel...

So now I'm at roughly 4pm of the first day in the parks... I've had to skip my CBR and DTD pictures (I saw them yesterday...where are they hiding???) and I know I have way more than the single blank page I left for each one. I've still got MNSSHP to scrap...and I'm at 21 pages.

First question: Is this normal??? I still have 5 days to go...Although...after we get through the BBB in the middle of the trip..Cinderella broke my camera. I don't take pictures very well with a 35mm...and was far more limited...(there's a story there....) This year...I'm giving DD a DIGITAL camera...so if my new Canon dies on me...I can still steal her camera!

Second question: Will I get anything close to finished before the next trip?? I'm mostly just mounting pictures and whatnot...I haven't started on many embellishments. 10 days isn't enough...and I need to catch up DD's book and will have the '09 book to do. Ugh.

At least it's only 10 days left! Check in and preorder of Photopass CD and book, done! Yay!

Our June 08 trip took up a WHOLE album....and that was with lots of refill pages...so yeah, I take too many pictures too...and bad thing is I like to use lots of picutures on my pages!

OK...goal is to get more done today...

And as far as any other scrapbook...years behind...only disney is even a little caught up....
