Is anyone doing a countdown? Last year my boys and I made a paper chain with 100 links to count down the last 100 days. Each day we tore off a link. Well, that chain was humongous!!!! So, this year I'm thinking we should start later... I just can't decide when. (I want to start now!!! ) Any suggestions?

We officially booked our trip a few days ago. June 1-8 at CSR. I have to agree that I am super excited to go. I can't stop looking at websites and making lists of things to do, places to eat, what to pack . . . My boyfriend thinks I am crazy . . then I come here and I feel relief that I am not the only one who gets worked up and excited way in advance. Thank you for restoring my sanity.

I know exactly how you feel! My husband thinks that I am going overboard with my excitement. How can you not get excited over WDW? I need to check his pulse.

Right now is a good time to buy the small handheld mister fans. Wal-Mart has them and they are about the size of a cassette tape (old school kind not the mini ones). I love those because they have a clip on them and I can clip it to my son's belt. Best of all, they were on clearance since it's still Winter time.

I also stopped by the local dollars store and picked up a couple of the mesh laundry bags. They are perfect to put dirty clothes in. I bring along large trash bags. When we are ready to leave, I put the mesh laundry bag down inside the trash bag, tie it up and smoosh it into the suitcase. Whey the trash bag? It keeps the dirty clothes smells inside.

I also hit our local Target but most of the stuff they had was for smaller kids and our son is 10 so he's sooo not into "little kid stuff".

Thanks for the info on the fans. We definitely need to get some of those. I love your chain idea! I imagine that it was long!

We also take trash bags with us. I don't want to put our smelly clothes back into our suitcases! Yuck!

Ok...so who else has started packing?

I had to move my suitcases around for something and while they were out I tossed in the new swim suits I bought for my kids...I know it is Feb, but they are already out in the stores!

I jumped on this thread a week ago, but we just changed our dates. We are now going a week earlier (yay!) then originally planned. We will be at OKW from 6/14 to 6/21. It's our fifth anniversary! Do they still give out the buttons?

They did when I was there in October for our 17th...just ask for them when you check in. We were also surprised by a card & balloons from Beauty & Beast!!!
BTW...we will be there the same dates. Going to be a busy week!

That is great! Though I have already bought some travel necessities, I have not packed yet! I actually think that DH and I need a bigger suitcase. Hmmm... do you think that luggage is still on sale?

Do you number or decorate each link? We didn't last year, but I really want to this time. I just can't decide what to do. Last year we made the two center links white and the rest all colors. Each DS pulled links from opposite sides. They were very excited about the white ones in the middle.

I hope so, DH and I are celebrating our 20th at OKW! We arrive 06/15 and leave 06/20. I plan on asking for the buttons. I'll look for you!
