I have no idea when. I am afraid waiting so long is going to mean missing out on disney character meals. DH is in the military and in Afghanistan. He knows he is taking vacation in June and will be home 18 days but has no idea when he will get here or when he will be due back. The other problem is that even when they tell him he is coming home on a certain day, it rarely happens that day. Any advice?

The only character meal I really want the boys to have is chef mickey's. They don't know who the princesses are and could care less. How likely am I got get in to breakfast or lunch with Mickey if we have to wait till last minute to know what day we will be there?

It is not too soon to make a countdown calendar either but again we don't know how many days it will be when we don't even know what day we are leaving yet.

How long are you planning on going for in June?

I would book duplicate ADRs right the way through June then cancel the ones you dont need nearer the time.

Just make sure you cancel the ones you dont need and then someone will have a nice surprise when theres an open table!

In normal circumstances I wouldnt recommend this but your husband is serving his country.

Congrats to all the honeymooners.... my first trip to Disney was on our honeymoon and it was absolutely the BEST trip ever!!!! (up until our next trip... and our next trip.... ha, ha!!!)

I'm flying down, we leave Richmond at 7:30 and arrive at MCO around 9:30. Should be at OKW by 11:00 . DH is driving, he had a commitment come up and can't leave until late on Father's Day. We'll celebrate Father's Day when he gets there. He won't fly any way, which is weird when he use to do video shoots from a helicopter. Guess he's getting old

I have already planned my girls day out with DD8. She picked the restaurant to eat at Coral Reef and what park she wants to go to. Did warn her that there is a nap scheduled , we're going to do EMH that night.

Woohoooooooooooooooooooo got us an adr to chef mickeys on June 19!!!!! I was so worried i was too late!!!! So there is hope for anyone who hasn't made theirs yet Man, i'm really excited now its starting to feel real now lol!!!!

Have you been to the Coral Reef before? We have not but are thinking about making ADR's for it. I looked at the menu listed on this website and it looked ok, nothing outrageous. It's the restaurant itself that looks so neat! I think that our kids would love it! We did not add the DDP to our package but I am now considering it.

We went the last time we were at WDW. It was cool, there were divers swimming by as we ate along with the fish & sharks! DD8 picked this restaurant to go back to as she really liked it.
As far as I can remember the food was good, we were a party of 6 and had no complaints.

We're arrive in Florida on June 1, and will be staying until the 7th. Can't WAIT! Bought the tickets last week, and the Pirate/Princess Party tickets this week!

I know - I just saw it today! After DH gets home, I am going to talk it over with him, again, and see what he thinks. After I calculated that we would come out ahead $280 if we went with the DDP, how could we not do it!

Only 101 days till WDW! I can't wait till I can do the double-digit dance!!
