I got an early start on next year and just booked a Standard/King at GDT.:hyper: I will be adding more dates later. It will be our first time for July since it does impact my DVC points because of my Sep use year so I've been a bit hesitant about booking a DVC.

Hello! My family just got back from another great trip in May, and of course our next trip is already booked. This time we will be going in July for the first time ever. We normally go in late May or early June, but decided to test the waters on a midsummer trip. We will be there July 12-19. We are staying RPC at the Floridian for this trip. We haven't been to the Floridian since 2019, which is also the last time we stayed MK side. I look forward to planning our next great trips together.

:welcome:to the thread! You're first on the list.

We also usually go in May ourselves in addition to many other times of the year since 1972 but I've never been in July so I wanted to give it a shot. It's going to be hot but it was hot this past May trip and I'm not planning much park time and just maybe an After Hours or two. I'd also like to catch some patriotic decorations at MK before they disappear. I'm kind of into the Americana decor.

We did Epcot AH the past two years, this year it was great, hardly anyone there and no lines, last year not so much. We also normally stay Epcot side. (The Boardwalk is my favorite resort.) Going back to the chaos of the MK side is a little daunting. I personally hate the monorail, and all the resorts are always so busy. CL helps alleviate that a bit, and the Floridian is such a beautiful resort. I can't wait to check out the newly renovated rooms. I'm also planning for a bit of a slower trip this year. I'm planning some good signature meals, V&A for sure. 399 days till we leave! 😆

I agree. We usually stay at BWV ourselves but if I ever do stay at one of the MK resorts, I also prefer GF or the Villas. DH loves that resort. I haven't been on the monorail for a few years now but I'm guessing they're as stinky as ever. I also hate having to go through Security every time you take the monorail to another MK resort. What a PITA! I understand why, but it's so much nicer not having to do that at the Epcot resorts.

Tell me about July. We usually visit in August, but my daughter starts college Aug 2025 so that’s out. It will just be the two of us, this trip.

We are thinking end of June or mid July. July is one of the few months we haven’t been. Hot doesn’t bother me, but have heard of the tour groups.

we are going this August and I want to book a bounce back, so trying to nail down dates.

Just got back from a long weekend in Florida. We did Universal for the OI Meetup, and then MVMCP Sunday, plus we went to Crystal River and snorkeled with the manatees ❤️ It was a great trip!

Booked my BB for July 12-18th.
Party: myself, DD29, GD4, GSs6&8, DS12, and maybe DS21 & his GF.

We do summer trips more often than I like 🥵 bcuz DS12 is in select soccer, so he is pretty busy most of the year. Plus I don't like to pull him out of school for a week now that he is in 7th grade.
We did June this past summer, August summer before. July a few times as well, so we are well prepared for the heat.

As of right now, we are booked for WL 12-15, and then YC 15-18. I am pretty happy with my BBs, but was hoping for a reg resort room at WL, but only king or fireworks were available, so in fireworks rooms. I may switch us to GW CR. Torn.
YC was basically the only thing available for an Epcot resort. I do have Swan booked as well with an AAA rate, so I have some deciding to do asap. :)

Hoping the night parade and villains show are running for us 🤞🤞

ETA: And that quick they added more room options to WL, so I was able to grab a water view instead of fireworks to save a little $$$, but resort view was available as well.
If you have a BB offer in your future, keep checking! :)

Put me down for a solo trip 7/2 - 7/6! Will be spending the holiday weekend at the Poly in the new tower, treating myself to a duo studio with the premium view. I decided to book now rather than later given how limited they are, before people realize how great those views are.

Ages ago I was booked for July 4th weekend in Poly CL but covid killed that trip like many others. Very excited to be doing it for real this time, when I did end up going for July 4th it was when HEA came back after fireworks had been suspended for covid. So I've never actually seen the holiday fireworks before.

Add us to the list! 06/27 to 07/06 at BWV. It's our first Fourth of July in World and our first trip including grandparents.

Just booked a father son split stay..week 1 of a month long sabbatical.
Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani. July 26 to July 29.
Boardwalk Villas. July 29 to August 2.
...then explore the country.

I was sure that I would be able to be there for the new Test Track during my late July/early August trip but now that disney changed to "late summer" I am not as certain. Stinks.

Bummer!

My big hope-they-get-it-in-time is the night parade by 4th of July. They say debuting in the summer, so it could be as late as August, too, but fingers crossed they're thinking before Epic Universe opens...

We are heading to DW next month and are interested in visiting Crystal River or Blue Springs to see manatees. What company / website did you use to book the snorkeling?

Salty Siren. Semi private tour is a group of 6, there were 4 of us and then another woman. I had a tour discount offer thru Viator so booked thru there.
Our guide took tons of pics and video, and the Captain had a drone above us taking pics and video-very assume picture package!
It was chilly, we did the 7:45am tour, but it was only us and so many manatees a lot of baby manatees too! Bucket list ✅
