~~*Official July 2013 Thread!*~~Our Month has Arrived!

Wanted to come back and post we got our Mickey Mail! We're 19 days out! Time to get serious about marking things off the check list! We've had such crazy weather here (10" of rain on Sat. ) Ready for some fun in the sun!

Way to go!!!! The July group will be at Disney very, very soon. Watch out Disney!!!!

So excited that our trip is less than 2 weeks away! We will be checking in at POP on June 29 for 13 nights. So sad we will miss the Dis meet on July 14th.

On the trip is Me (single lady), My DMom, DDad, DB, DSIL,DNieces (14 and 6.5). It is a surprise trip for my nieces; they think we are spending a week at Daytona Beach. We are hoping the 14 yr old is not disappointed.

Day one of summer vacation is officially here! Classroom cleaned out, things put away and organized, got next year's class schedule....all set for summer!

Anyone know if the Outlet mall stores are worth going to?

We can't check in to Coronado Resort till 3pm on the 4th so figure we could go there to do a little shopping since we have to check out of the hotel we are staying at by 11 am

We go to the Outlet Mall sometimes during our stay. I would look at the stores located at the mall to see if there are any that you would be interested in going to. I love Vera Bradley and they have a store there, which we do not have one where I live. My husband likes to go to the Adidas and Nike stores. There are plenty of other stores there as well, but look and see if you would like to go into any of those stores. If you aren't interested in going to the stores, there are some other things that you can do on property that are just as fun. Are you traveling with children? What are your travel plans? Also, even though the check in time says 3pm, you can sometimes get in early. We have been lucky on a few stays where our room was ready around noon and we could drop our stuff off. Another time it wasn't ready but we were able to check in and then they texted me our room number when it was ready.

I can't wait! 26 more days until we start our road trip! I have 4 more days of school with students and then two professional development days next Mon and Tues.

Oh my! I just had to make some major adjustments to our plans, but for a good reason. DD just got an extra day off from her job, so now we have a bonus day! Just booked the extra day @ CSR, so we will arrive a day sooner! We are soooo excited!!

Here are my updated plans:

Got our Mickey mail from the TA today!

I'm starting to think about packing but between my sister's prom and graduation this week there is so much to do! 12 days now!

I was able to check the weather for the first few days on my kindle. It looks like rain so let's hope it changes, anything can happen in 12 days!

I'm in a similar boat! 13 days for us and I haven't started packing either. So many things going on at once I'm trying to get what has to be done finished before i start the next project!

I'm trying to figure out how to get 2 checked bags, 4 carry-ons, 2 car seats, a 4 year old, and an 11 month old from the parking lot to the terminal! And my sister has a bad back so I don't want her doing much lifting. The fun of flying with young kids!

Lucky!!! I have 6 1/2 more days Ugh!!
We leave 2 days after I get out and I haven't even started packing yet! Eek!!! I guess that's what I'll be doing all weekend.

We have twin girls age 6 1/2.

Travel plans:
July 2-3 - Driving from Lawton Ok to Dallas Tx for dinner with Grandparents then driving straight thru to Orlando.

July 3 - Staying at Courtyard by Marriot (rest for me since I will be doing 90% of the driving, shopping and pool for wife and girls)

July 4 - Check in Coronado Springs and relax in pool and go site seeing around Disney that doesn't need tickets

July 5-8 - Different park each day
We have 4-day Magic your way tickets (no Hopper).
Plans right now are for us to go to the park that has early addmission for each day.
No water parks since CSR has nice pool and water slide.

July 9 - Leave out for Galveston Tx with a stop over in Gulfport Ms for rest and some time on the beach.

July 10-11 - Tour a Time Share place in Galveston, not going to buy anything, got a good deal on a vaction stay so we have to deal with the sales pitch.

July 12 - Head home with a stop in Dallas so girls can tell grandparents all about the trip.

July13 - I get to DJ a wedding!

Congratulations - I know how you are feeling. I was so excited when the Doctor told us the gender of our baby. Then the Apple of my eye was born - DD - Midori
