Hi everyone!!! Well, you are all going to think I am officially nuts (if you don't already :lmao:), but.....I turned 33 today! That means that all 4 of us (me, DH, DS5 and DS3) are the age we will be on our July trip!

OK, so I'm grasping at straws now...I'm desperate to keep on finding things that I can relate to this trip to make it feel closer and closer...but in 6 weeks at this exact time, the kids should be asleep and we should be relaxing in our villa at BWV, maybe having a drink out on the balcony, anticipating our first theme park of the trip the following morning (DHS)!!! In exactly one month from today, we leave the house for our long drive down south and we can't wait!!! :goodvibes

I also feel like it's really crunch time now, like I really have to completely finalize our park touring plans and study them, memorize them. OK, so it's the teacher in me...I might have to give myself some quizzes on the way down to pass the time and to make sure I know what I'm doing once I get to WDW and my mouth drops to the floor!!! :rotfl2:

3 days of teaching left for me! :woohoo: It's really going fast now. My back is feeling much better, thank goodness. One more week and I can exercise again, but lightly and gradually. No heavy weight lifting...just light aerobics to start, no jumping. I feel more confident now about working out again next week, than I did before, because the soreness is almost completely gone! I only feel it slightly on the left side of my lower back.

Wow, some of you leave in just a couple of weeks, so exciting!!!

Bonnie, Glad your back is better. Three days...:cool1: My last day is Wed. next week 1/2 day, but our students finish exams on Monday.

Don't forget to double check the hours and EMH schedule right before you leave as it is all subject to change. You can also do some rearranging during the drive if necessary (at least that's my plan!)

So glad to hear your back is getting better!

Believe me, I do memorize the itinerary too! Before I got an ipod, I used to get through my runs by going through my day by day disney plans to pass the time! Haha! Now I just listen to disney podcasts!

I have 11 more days of school, the last 2 being half days. Then we have a professional development day the day after the kids get out. Then I leave exactly a week later!

I agree - CSR is on my list too. DEFINITELY stop by on the 4th at Epcot. There is an area of benches just to the right after you cross the bridge from England - I thought that might be a good place.

I will be making some changes as soon as we decide if we are moving our vacation up by a few days.....I told DH, we need a decision by this Friday.
Well, it looks we'll be in Epcot, but I doubt we'll make it by the 3:30 meet time.

We are in the process of making our ADR's and I have changed them several times...just can't seem to help it!! We looked into a Wishes cruise for our July stay and it was just too expensive. We will be watching the fireworks from the beach....not a bad alternative :)
I'm doing that, too!:rotfl:

I usually do my ADRs and leave them alone, but not this year -lol!

Watching the fireworks from the beach is a great alternative - we did that several times last year at the Poly.
Usually we are resort changers, but this year there's no way I'm changing from Poly CL. So it's ADRS!:lmao:
tinkerbell-Don't shoot me but DH upgraded us again yesterday. He's decided to give a deluxe a shot, so we wanted either CR or BC, and there was no Pin Code availability at BC soooooooo it will be CR for us!!!

Of course I will keep trying to call EVERY week and see if the BC becomes available, but if not I will be happy to try CR. I just don't want to be dissapointed with CR since I had BC stuck in my head. (DH thinks I'm nuts, and he is correct but I can't let him know that :rotfl:)

Now I'm thinking of giving RideMax a try since it's going to be so busy, we usually like to wing it, but I think that would be a mistake!!!
:cool1:We did something like that last year: upgraded from POFQ to CR--3 days before our trip! We loved CR and it's location. Enjoy!

Just paid off the trip! Can't wait for it to get here!!!
:cool1:

As I was reading the dis..just now...my dad said UPS just rang with an enveloppe. It was ................... our DME tags!
:cool1:

Hey, I just tried to make a ressie for July 14th in the evening (Date Night -- parenst are babysitting!!!:cool1:) at one of the signature restaurants and had lots of options to choose from.

Could this be a sign that it's not too crowded? Or just no one wants to spend that kind of money

Also, I just checked park hours again and MK is still showing 9am openings for July (week of 11th).
I just made one last night for Biergarten in Epcot. There were several to choose from. I guess that's good for us, right?:confused3

Happy birthday! Today was my DS's birthday--hope yours was a great one.

So....we got the Biergarten in Epcot on the 4th so it looks like a DHS morning and Epcot for Illuminations. Don't think we'll make the meet, but you never know--things seem to be changing quite a bit.:rolleyes1

Happy Birthday! I know what you mean - DS turns 13 next week - so we are waiting on him. I am so glad to hear your back is better!

Thanks for the hours update Debby - I need to sit down with my calendar as soon as we figure out what we are doing. It is now looking like we will go a bit earlier and come home a few days earlier so DD is here for the movie filming. But, no time lost in Disney.

I love to exercise to the parade music too!

Happy Birthday to your DS!!!

We can possibly alter the meet time, at least till 4-4:30pm if that helps at all. I originally suggested 3:30 because someone had an ADR at 4:30 but now they are going to DHS and won't be there anyway. A little later might work better anyway since we have a 2:30 ADR and will just be finishing around 3:30pm......what time are you getting to Epcot?

Sorry for my laziness, but can someone post the most recently updated links to our common trip date and common ADR posts. I do not have the time, patience, or energy to seach all 123 posts. Thanks!:thumbsup2

Excellent beer! But, we have a long drive the following morning to North Carolina, so we will have to make sure we don't have too many! :rotfl:

29 days from today we leave...it is officially less than a month until we leave! So...is it proper for me to now say that we are leaving on "the 8th" instead of "July 8th"? :lmao:

Oh definitely! Good thinking! I'm going to start doing that too!

YES! I'm under 30 days now - when it's in the 20's like this, it's getting REALLY close!

Happy Birthday, Bonnie! I'm so glad your back is better! I just turned in my exam copies to my principal and I'm itching to start packing up my room!!! Next week is our last full week, in-laws coming in next Wednesday for DD's graduation Friday, her party on Saturday, Father's Day on Sunday, two more days of exams then 2 professional development days and we'll be FINALLY done with the school year!!! After that, VACATION!!!! It's great to be ticking things off from my list for the next 2 weeks!

Oh and poor DH has a colonoscopy (did I spell that right??) tomorrow, so I had to take a 1/2 day. I didn't realize that I had to go with him!!! Poor thing!

Yay so last August when we left Disney I told my daughter that it would be awhile before we went back. I really believed it because the boys in my family are not such big fans. Now I'm back for July 8! My birthday celebration, just us girls - less than a month to go!

Do we have you on the resort list on page 136? If not, I would be happy to add you! Just list your dates and resort.

Is anyone doing a water park this trip? We have some left over "plus" options from days gone by that are good at the waterparks. We are considering doing Typhoon Lagoon. The last time we went, we did an EMH (morning) at Typhoon Lagoon - we just got up, threw on bathing suits and were one of the first in the park when it opened at 8am. By the time the park opened to the non resort guests, the kids had done almost everything they wanted to.

I checked the hours on the Disney site yesterday and Typhoon Lagoon has morning EMH on Wednesdays and Blizzard Beach has them on Thursdays.
