Okay...I think I am all done switching things around!

I changed my reservation and added 2 days at BLT to the end. I am excited to try it out!! The rooms look so nice!

Here are my ADRS:

Both the Poly and BLT are new resorts for us to try, and, with the exception of The Wave and Ohana, all of our dining choices are new. I think it will be fun to "branch out" a bit more!

We got our tickets last August...right before Disney increased the price. We got them through Undercover Tourist. We book our trips far in advance (always with summer vacations), and we took advantage of the DVC Member 11-month booking window at our home resort (BWV). So at the beginning of August, we ordered our tickets, and in the middle of August I was on the phone booking our trip!!! That felt great but it still felt so far away. Now it feels so close I can almost feel it!!! I think, in a lot of ways, that this is the best time, looking forward to it all and all of the planning. But I'm an obsessive vacation planner and obsessed with Disney!

I always try to get our tickets right before the prices go up! Usually it means that I have them a year in advance but it makes sense if you want to save money!

Exactly, we feel the same way! It also makes paying for the vacation easier...we pay for our tickets the year before, we stay on our DVC points, so when we actually go our WDW room bill will consist of food and souvenirs. Tickets are already paid for, this year's DVC maintenance fees are already paid for as well!

Yay!! Congratulations! Doesn't it feel soooo grea to be booked?! If you want to e specific with your ADR times and dates, I can add them to the list on the top of pg. 7.

AND I'm almost positive cruises can be booked 180 days out! Everywhere I looked said 90 and I asked a question on the DIS and was told by someone it was 180. So I called just to try and it was! I was able to get a Wishes cruise for July 3rd, even being a few days past after 180 already passed. I'm sure it's the same for Wishes and Illuminations. I would call to at least try! Good luck!

I did an Illuminations cruise for my 16th birthday 2 years ago! It was SO much fun! Defiantly worth it. Our guy even drove us around a little bit. So relaxing to see MGM lit up and the Boardwalk lit up

We got a good deal too...when we bought the tickets, they have you 3 extra days if you bought a 4-day base ticket. We were originally planning to get a 6-day ticket (2 days each at MK, Epcot and DHS) but the 7-day was the same price as a 4-day anyway! So we added a third Epcot day so we can sleep in and walk over to the World SHowcase from BWV, when it opens at 11AM and have a World Showcase-only day! We aren't going to AK because we weren't really into it on our last trip. When the boys get older, if they want to go on the thrill rides there then we will take them. But for now, we'll skip it.

I'm upgrading my ticket to an AP. We get $100 off the AP price as DVC members, and then we will buy the Tables in Wonderland card for $75. This ends up being a better deal for us than the DDP, because we wanted more table service meals and we can also order exactly what we want (like having a couple of appetizers as your meal instead of an entree, for example). We get 20% off of everything in the table service restaurants we are going to, including alcohol. This was the most sensible way to do it for us.
