Thanks for the welcome. Here are our ADRS thus far!

We will arrive late on July 2nd so nothing planned for this night.
7/3 CM for breakfast for my birthday!
7/4 Playhouse Disney at HV lunch!
7/5 PSB Bk so DD can eat with Royalty!
7/6 CP Breakfast
7/7 Sci-Fi for Dinner
7/8 Donalds BK in AK for dh's birthday!
7/9 1900 PF Dinner
7/10 Cape May for Breakfast before we start the long drive home

I'm not overly thrilled with SCI-Fi so I might change that, but other than that I was able to get what I wanted.

I was all set to add you ADRs but I realized you didn't put the times!! If you want me to add you to the list, just let me know your ADR times.

Congratulations! Do you listen to the Dis Podcast? Pete just reviewed CBR - you should listen to it. It was a good review- although it sounded as though it would be bad. Also, there is a video podcast of CBR. I haven't watched it yet, though. Enjoy!

I am new to the discussion boards for Disney.

we are going June 27 - July 11 and we are staying off site in a " good neighbour" hotel.

Very excited but apprehensive about crowds. we live in Texas so heat does not bother us at all. I am loving all the tips and suggestions - I am sooo glad I found this site.

I am finding all the abbreviations confusing - is there a guide somewhere that I cna catch up on the "lingo"?

Which hotel are you staying at? We have stayed off site a couple of times.

That is great news!! Nothing like a little cash back in the pocket!! That is how I felt when the TA emailed me with the new AP rates!

STILL, that was over the general public discount I already had. Altogether, it was about $400 off rack rate, which for a holiday weekend...not too shabby!

Ours was about $90 more - that is for the first 5 nights in the CR - Club and the two rooms at the All Stars for 8 nights. Like you said, it was on top of the first discount, so I am not complaining.

I am too stressed about trying to pack to leave tomorrow, so I did not go back and calculate the real savings.

We are booked into the Royal Parc Suites. It says they are 1 mile from disney but we will know know how close until we get there.

I did want to ask about getting to the park. The hotel offers free shuttle to all the parks but is it better to drive our Rental veh there ourselves and park, use the shuttles to go back for afternoon breaks and back to the park and then pick up our veh when we want to leave? My thinking is during the first and last runs it will be really busy and may take time but during the middle of the day it may be quicker to take? I have an 8 and 5 year old so I am really trying to plan around them.

I can't speak for taking the shuttles mid day, but I would recommend you take your own vehicle. From what I have read the offsite resort shuttles don't always operate the full time the parks are open.
