My ADR's are on the page 67 ADR list. I don't have very many. just 4. We're a large party this time. Instead of 5 we are 7 because my MIL and 10 yr. old niece are meeting us there. We're staying in a 2 br. villa, so we can make as many meals in our villa to save $$. As it is, 5 of us for dinner usually costs us $100+ even at Olive Garden. We've got the Boma Flavors of Africa buffet at AK Lodge and the Sanaa new restaurant in Kidani Village. We're doing the tea for the ladies at the Grand Floridian and a CB at Beach Club. We also plan to hit the Rainforest Cafe by popular demand. We're not sure when we'll try it. Probably a lunch sometime. We are keeping our schedule open enough so that if we get really hungry in the parks and don't want to head back to the resort, we can hit a QS. I'm also hoping that maybe we can hit Yak & Yeti sometime for lunch as a walk in. The food is the same at lunch as dinner and it is very good.

The Lime Green Mickey heads are paint swatches from Home Depot. The Disney paint collection. ::MinnieMo

Have you stayed at CBR before? We ate at Shutters there once (without an ADR for dinner). They fit us in without much wait and it was DELICIOUS! Don't forget to eat there.

This gets better and better - we are a party of 7 too!! I have not stayed at CBR it was a last minute impulse change, I had been booked to stay at ASMo. I have only stayed at value resorts so I thought it was time for a change! I called to try to change some times on some of my ADRs - that was not happening, especially not with a party of 7.:rolleyes1 So it is what it is! Here goes:

7/10 1900 Park Faire 5;40p
7/11 Crystal Palace 8:55a
7/12 Hollywood & Vine (with Fantasmic) 3:50p
7/13 Chef Mickey 5:35p
7/14 Spirit of Aloha 5:15p
7/15 Biergarten 5:30p
7/16 Askerhus (Princess Breakfast) 9:35a

I figure I would use my cs's for breakfast mostly. Since Spirit of Aloha is 2 dinners, I have to pay for one of these, not sure yet which one to pay for. Any suggestions would be great!:yay:

Someone who is a CPA type person, analysed the cost/value of the meal plan. They said that you're much better off moneywise to pay cash for your dinnershows (or anything else that is 2 dining credits) and use your dining credits for single meals. We paid cash for our dinnershow, but then we weren't on the meal plan that trip. We're not doing the meal plan this trip either since we'll be eating in as much as we can. plus, paying cash basis, we can eat just what we want (including kids meals for DN10). When we were on the meal plan, since dessert was included, we were way too full to eat desserts at our favorite places later. I'm typically a very light lunch eater. I plan to grab some fresh fruit at the pool bar and/or their yummy tuna sandwhich a few times. Also, we have to option of snacking our way around the World instead of a full meal. Nothing says Disney like ice cream for lunch! We also want to get a "Kitchen Sink" at Beaches & Cream! That a lot of fun.

Hey Mindy Ill share a Kitchen sink with ya.....between the 10 of us we can make it happen....maybe!:woohoo:

UMMM YUMMY Kitchen sink!! LOL

The only reason we aren't paying out of pocket for any of our meals even with doing HDDR is because we have a spare credit since we aren't arriving until late the night of the 2nd. But we would have paid for something out of pocket otherwise.

We have had a busy few days. I took the kids and had their pics made yesterday. DD started camp today. Been busy cleaning etc. Off to update the trip report with a few of the pics and try to post my packing list! LOL

I agree, the Kitchen Sink sounds delicious! I'd be willing to help eat it as well!!!! ;)

I am doing my best to stay busy by cleaning the house, washing the clothes, etc. :laundy: I really need to find something else to occupy my time!

Still nothing in mail from WDW. Hope to receive something soon.

So, do you think that it is too early to start packing? :rotfl:

Mentally I have packed several time already! I am afraid if I start packing now, I will just keep adding to it all month long!:lmao: And I am not paying extra luggage fees!

Yes, I think I have to check out that Kitchen Sink, where is that B&C located?

I have a "stuff I'm taking to WDW" pile too!! I would love nothing more than to pack right now but I know if I do I'll unpack and repack 38 times. The night before a trip, I must take stuff out and put it back in 12 times just to make sure I really put everything in there!

:thumbsup2 I added you to the list of ADRs on page 67. Take a look at the menus on allears for the prices of the places you are going. That might help you decide which meal to pay out of pocket! :thumbsup2

Yeah, where is the B&C located? I am thinking about giving it a try if we have time...:rotfl2:

Beaches & Cream is at the Beach Club Resort. The entrance is outside along a promenade facing their Storm-Along Bay Pool.

This Kitchen Sink comes in a giant bowl that looks like a kitchen sink. It also has all their flavors of ice cream, syrup, toppings, its got brownie bits just everything. My DD6 won't touch it because she only eats plain vanilla with nothing on it! :lmao:

I can't devote a room to packing because I've got company coming for the Bar Mitzvah, but I did put my mini-mister fans and sun screen in a tote bag so they won't get lost. At least I won't have to worry about packing volume. We're driving down in a mini-van with a big thule box on the top!! :rotfl: just about anything goes! I'm thinking about bringing the snow cone maker and syrups too! Those of you flying, don't forget to leave room in the suite case for souvenirs. Or you can pay to have your collectibles shipped. When we fly, we usually have enough carry-on allowance left between the 5 of us to carry home souvenirs. But I do have to restain myself when we fly... so we'll be driving by car!! We'll be boosting the economy!:woohoo:

Hi everyone!

For people enquiring about DME, I was given this phone number by WDW to phone them directly...

866-599-0951 ... and also 407 939 6244

I had to give up trying to book DME for my vacation as our british TA just didn't know what it was & wouldn't add it to our booking, and Disney said they needed our TA to add it to our hotel reservations?!
It's a shame because I loved DME on my last two trips.. it totally started the Disney magic before we even got to WDW! :goodvibes

I have just been making my own DIY LGMHs!! going to attach them to my theme-park bags... will post pictures soon lol.

I have around four bags of things-to-pack-for-wdw-vacation in the bottom of my wardrobe ... clothes, toiletries, makeup, jewellery, beach towels, plug adaptors, autograph book, ponchos, pal mickey, pal mickey outfits, minnie ears.... :rotfl:
can you tell i'm excited?!!?

Happy Planning!!

29 days..

Barbie princess:

I just thought I'd share:
I just checked my flights online-I booked JetBlue there and SW home. Both of my flights went down by A LOT! I now have credit vouchers for both airlines! It's worth a shot!

41 days and counting!
