The sagging world economy may deter tour groups both foreign and domestic, but that's just a guess. I do know that McDonald's has rented Hollywood Studios for I think it is Wednesday the 15th. Whichever day it is HS closes to the public at 7:00pm. That day, I would expect that there will be enough extra McD's employees to rent out a whole park!! I too am concerned about humidity & crowds, but this year July is it! We're taking my niece (10) with us and her school breaks really do not coincide with ours except for the middle of summer. We usually go in March, April, Oct or Nov. We're trying to plan a time-frame for our next Disney Vacation after this one, so I don't know whether to make it before next summer or not!![]()
What if you ADR's after 7 pm at HS? I can't imagine that they would allow us to make ADR's if the park was going to be closed. I am wrong?

I also bough those mini misting cooling fans at Wal Mart for $3.00. They have Carabiners on them so I can attach them to our pin lanyards or backbacks.
My MIL got the Mickey Mail and she didn't say anthing about luggage tags (the name & address ones). I will have to double check with her on what she actually received. I don't need luggage tags or Magic Express tickets myself.
I think if I could survive 6 years living in Houston (know to me as Hotston) I can deal with the heat of Disney with all its garden beauty. July is the only time we could take my niece.![]()
Thanks for the info on the cooling fans.

Yikes, I'll have to check that out! NO DO NOT ADD DAYS!! lol
Mindy hey don't make fun of us in Houston. LOL But I agree, it will just be another summer day for us, but a lot more fun!![]()
We live in College Station and it is so hot and humid here during the summer. I figure that July in WDW probably won't be much different. When we went last June ('08), it wasn't too bad. Maybe that's because we are so used to the heat and humidity.

We are going on the 11 july for 2 wks staying at all stars movies.
it will be the 6th time to disney but the 1st staying on site + the 1st visit for our 6yr girl, and our 16th wedding anniversary.can't wait but still a bit nervous as it will be very different with a child in tow, hopefully even better![]()
Two weeks at WDW!
I'm so jealous! You will have a wonderful time and staying onsite is the best!

(I mean Houston). Actually we lived in Friendswood, and the people there sure put the Friend in Friendswood. I just didn't like the climate. I also missed my seasons. Of course, now I'm SO over winter. Its fun for a couple of weeks, but it gets old fast. After Christmas, I'm done!!
ice cream, big giant brownies or Rice Krispy treats at the Bakery, funnel cakes... who needs a "real" meal!!
This is Disney its all about fun... YES kids you CAN have ice cream for dinner!!
I will have to check on your dates as well! I am so excited! We have 35 days until ours begins!
I just wish that our papers would come in. Since our WDW vacation is going to be a complete surprise to the kids (they will find out when we enter under the WDW sign), I do my best to beat them to the mail box! I haven't pushed them out of the way yet in order to be the first one there...yet.
We did not have fish and chips but did stop in to have a Harp's lager!

I wish it would hurry up and get here! I booked through
