now i am lost as to whether or not i should buy the photopass cd!!!!!!!!!! lol
It would be rather easier for us to not have to lug around the camera and gorillapod...
however, its always the same pictures everywhere we go...

decisions decisions

I would say try it out as CosmicGirl advised ~ it is your Disneymoon! ;) That will be like having your own professional photographer to capture keepsake memories for you!

How about a PP cd, a camera and no gorilla pod?
That way you get the fun PP shots with add-ons and the spontaneous anywhere-you-want-them shots without having to lug around the gorilla!
You can always take it with you and leave it in you room the first day, try the PP thing and check your photos at the end of the day to see if they live up to your expectations. If they don't, you can take the gorilla with you the next day and get a refund on the PP cd. Just a thought :confused3

Yes yes you gals are right...
However, i did book a private honeymoon photosession in Epcot... which is a whopping 500 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:scared1:

ohhh I've already ordered my photopass cd for $99.... doh! never mind, at least it's done.

I think I need to step away from the planning spreadsheet... today I decided to add three more gift baskets from Disney Florist for the other family members when we arrive!!

Now I have ordered...

'Disney Welcome' (for DBFs parents)

'Royal Welcome' (for DBF's niece)

'It's a Pirate's Life' (DBF's older sister & her boyfriend)

'Ears to you' (DBF's little sister)

and 'Embrace the Magic' for DBF !!! i wasn't going to get him one as i got him one as a surprise last October.. but I knew that if everyone else in the party got a present, he would be jealous!! :rotfl:

I have soo many surprises planned for this vacation, I might actually burst soon! :yay:

34 days to go!!

You put my surprises to shame missy!!!

However, I have a surprise for U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cool1: haha

I thought the Photo Pass guys only hung out at the front of the parks - to get a picture with the castle and stuff..

Are there photo pass people (say that three times fast) in other areas too? Are they there when you do a meet and greet with the characters? What about at the ol' Kodak picture spots or in front of the rides?

Nope they are all over, here is a link to the page on the website showing where you can find them: http://www.disneyphotopass.com/aboutdpp_map_gen.aspx

Also, you have to ask them to take your picture. I didn't know this on our first trip so we didn't have any done. And yes, they are normally at the character meet and greets. Also, ask for the magic pictures where they add characters in to your picture. Sometimes they don't automatically do it.

Now the wonderous countdown ticker that made me excited is stressing me out! I am so indecisive about stuff, I just need to make decisions and GO WITH IT! My current list of stuff to make decisions about:

1. how to id my kids. Not so much worried about the 9 year old as the 2 year old. Thought about those silicone bracelets, and letting them wear on ankles, since they will be wearing crocs?

:scared1:

To ID the youngest child: I bought a ID holder at U Buffalo (I'm sure other places than colleges have them). It is vinyl and folds in half so there are two clear ID pockets to put things in. In one side I have her student photo ID from school which is like a drivers license in the info. on it. On the other side I put a card with each of the adults names and cell phone numbers on it. I attach this ID holder to her lanyard. This way, if she gets lost, any cast member can call either me, her father or her big brother or sister. If you don't have one of those student ID's because you're child is too young for school, many police departments make them for children. Prior to having the school ID, we had one done by the local police department. Call and ask at your local precinct if they do Child ID. They also keep a record of your child's fingerprints that they take when they make the ID.

SWEET! Thanks!:thumbsup2

On the IDing the kid thing. I have been just thinking about doing what they do at church - take a Hello My name is sized sticker and writing his name and our cell number on it....:confused3

Try planning a two-week disneymoon AND a wedding at the same time!!! I know as soon as school gets out, I'm going to be a madwoman! I've been trying to put everything off, I keep saying, "I'll worry about it when school gets out." :teacher: I know it's all going to hit me at once.

Once I'm on that plane.......:cloud9::bride:

I hear ya!! I am planning my Disney trip on top of my nephew's Bar Mitzvah, June 20 and Project Graduation (huge party) June 22. And my DD21 just stuck her wedding planning on my plate (probably Aug 30th). That date isn't even firm yet because he's army and they have to get it approved. I also have the 1st grade class party on June 18th (I'm the room mom). ballet recital the week after that... then I will be one planning madwoman with only 2 weeks to go!! :yay:

Does anyone know if there is a limit as to how many days you must pre-order a cake at WDW? I am planning on calling the GF bakery and having them prepare a cake for DD's 10th birthday. Since we will be celebrating her birthday dinner at 1900 PF (her favorite place), I figured it will be easier to have it delivered.

Thanks! :)

Thanks for the heads up on the code! Just used it to purchase the Cd and the book!:thumbsup2:cool1:

I know there are some type of tatoos that are out there now for kids id, but can't remember the website. I have also seen others in the parks that have used the luggage tags that Disney sends in the packets. They would put them on a button or loop on the childs clothing. HTH

I finally talked my DH into going to Disney this year! Of course I've had the room ressie for 8 months!:thumbsup2 He's not a big Disney fan but I convinced him we need to take advantage of the military offer they have this year. We are staying at SOG from 7/19 - 7/25. We are celebrating our daughters high school graduation. I only wanted a few ADR's, 7/19 O'hana @ 5:20 (just got that changed from a 8:20 ressie), Yak & Yeti 7/22 @ 1:00 and Le Cellier 7/24 @ 11:40. I can't wait!

Cheryl

:banana::banana: Knocked 4 things off my to do list!!!!

Gotta keep rolling with it though!!!!!!!!

:rotfl: You are so sneaky! My DH isn't a big Disney fan either; however, I overheard him telling one of his friends that it's "really a lot of fun." Go figure. :confused3 I made the reservations for our trip without telling DH first. He did not argue when I told him about it and now I know why - he's a closet Disney fan!! :lmao:
