OFFICIAL JULY 2009 THREAD!!! The wait is on!!!

School's out for Summer!! Last day of work today and I don't report back until August 10!! No more paperwork to do; I just have to gather up all my WDW paperwork and get busy packing after a quick trip to San Diego to visit my DDs and help younger DD move from her dorm into an apartment! I am so excited!

I called and was told that that was all I was going to get. I had already gotten some stuff like address tags for our luggage. This last mail had the luggage tag to ID the bags to be picked up by WDW and the ME papers. You might want to call just to be sure. It is kinda a let down to know we are getting so close and my planning is almost done. 32 days and a wake up to go. Lois

I don't have my Mickey Mail yet, but I am assuming it's going to go to my travel agent.....

Eek I am in the final stages of wedding planning and going to WDW!!!! The anticipation is killing me!

Just curious, the address tags for your luggage and the other paclage items (not ME) - did those come after you had paid off your balance?

I received my statement saying I had paid off the trip yesterday but none of the "package" items came with it.

If you have TA then yes they most likely went there. Give your TA a call and see when they might be expected.

We recieved the first package before the trip was paid in full. If you have a TA they could have them and will present them to you all at once after all the documentation has arrived. If you don't have a TA and you know that you do not have everything in your package you might want to call WDW and speak to a CM to ask what you might expect when.

I know that they have needed to make cutbacks and I am fearful that until things pick up Disney will struyggle to keep things going at the level we have all come to expect. You can only push a person so far before errors begin to be made.

These were the actual travel vouchers for resort check-in. My ME packet arrived a week and a half ago.

The difference between the regular price and the pre-purchase one will get awfully big (50% more or 33% less, depending on how you look at it), so my guess is that they will indeed increase the pre-purchase price as well. That's why I ordered it straight away. They have to earn back all that 4/3 money somewhere .
And if I change my mind I can always get a refund!

now i am lost as to whether or not i should buy the photopass cd!!!!!!!!!! lol
It would be rather easier for us to not have to lug around the camera and gorillapod...
however, its always the same pictures everywhere we go...

How about a PP cd, a camera and no gorilla pod?
That way you get the fun PP shots with add-ons and the spontaneous anywhere-you-want-them shots without having to lug around the gorilla!
You can always take it with you and leave it in you room the first day, try the PP thing and check your photos at the end of the day to see if they live up to your expectations. If they don't, you can take the gorilla with you the next day and get a refund on the PP cd. Just a thought
