I don't have a home depot nearby, but I've got to get to one to get a Lime Green Mickey Head! If I see another Disser, I'll probably be as excited as when I see Mickey himself! :lmao: I just realized that if we take a leisurely lunch, we might run into Lois at Yak and Yeti on our way out... How cool would that be??????:hippie:

I need to go to my PTR and add get LGMH from Home Depot on my to do list!!!!

I will also go to the Home Depot (I have to get some wheels for a project anyway) and pick up Alien Green paint chips to make tags for my bags. I am the Betsy Ross of my neighborhood. I'm thinking here.....:wizard:..ta da... an idea!! What about a banner/flag with... white with a Alien Green Mickey head on it.!! I can do that. No problem. I can even take the paint swatch to the fabric store so I get the correct color (if they have it). I can hang it in our window. Hmmmmm I have lime green capri's!:rotfl:

Oh, no. I've created a monster.

So...

I emailed my AAA travel agent and asked her to give me a call when she had a chance, as I'd like to pay off my trip.

That was 2 hours ago and I still haven't heard from her.

I thought I was being polite by letting her call me when she wasn't busy (as it's not an urgent thing)...I guess I'll just break down and call as I have $2150.08 burning a hole in my pocket. :rotfl2:

I just did some quick snooping around and by looking at what time the pics were taken it seems our lunch was at 11am.

Thanks for checking on the timing. We have booked the tour on the day that we don't have any ADRs so it won't interfere with anything else. I agree, once will be enough for us - it's just for the experience and does sound interesting!

Hey everybody. I'll have to get some of those LMGH as well. I'm sure dh can always find a reason to go to Home Depot!

Also, I have started a PTR. I hope to get some more info on there in a bit but the link is in my siggy. Check it out if you need to kill some time. LOL:lmao:

Yeah. What she said.

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Ditto! Thanks Tom for reminding us. I was hopping tp print out at least one lime green Mickey head to place on my bag. I think I may now be able to get my name on it as well. So if any of you see me please be sure to say Hi! I will introduce you to the picture of my MIL that I am also hoping to have with as a way to share our love of Disney with her from a far. I will write more of our week once I get home and can process what has happened.

Just remember to tell those you love how important they are each and everyday as one never know when they will no longer be here to hold. God bless all of you. Now back to the matter of life. Lois

You got it! :thumbsup2

I'm going to Home Depot to search for an alien green mickey head or two. I'll put my name on it and hang if from a) my bag and B) my stroller and go from there.

You guys are the first group I'm willin to do this for I just want you all to know :rotfl2::grouphug:

Oh, you're so sweet! :)

I guess I'm up for an all-nighter! :rotfl2:

This is our first time going to Disney in the summer. We have always gone in January or the spring. This is a last minute trip and hear how hot it can be and possibly rainy. Can anyone who has been there in July give me some feedback on some real life experiences with the weather during that time? Thanks! :)

Usually we have experienced the weather being hot for sure! but also a little shower or two in the afternoons. They don't usually last long at all. Great time for catching up on some shopping or riding some of the long wait rides. It has been a few years but that is what I remember from our last July trip. It's pretty much typical southern summer weather.

Hi Debbie,

I read your pre-trip report. It would not allow me to reply on the pre-trip report post, so I'll reply here instead. We used to live in Houson. In 1990 we drove in our 87' Ford Escort Wagon all the way to Disney World in one shot!! OMG!! Actual driving time from Friendswood was nearly 20 hours. I can't remmeber if that included stops, but maybe. When we got to Orlando, we were staying with a friend who is a cast member. We arrived absolutely exhausted. We ended up having to leave to go into the parks early in the morning, when Eddie went to work because he was getting us in free with his benefit. So, we had little sleep. We were dragging. At least you'll have the comfy hotel to stay in and you'll be free to rest. We're driving from Northern Virginia which is 14 hours of driving time (889 miles). We're not even doing it in one shot even though we have 4 drivers now. We're just too old :scared1:

You will LOVE 1900 Park Fare for the Supercalifragilistic Breakfast. We did that one last October and the food selection was excellent and yummy!! We got to see Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Alice In Wonderland, The Mad Hatter and Mary Poppins. I particularly like that breakfast because you not only have eggs, waffles, omlettes, but they also have fresh fruit and pastry! Service was excellent. It was a great experience overall. I'd recommend it.

I have no idea why it wouldn't let you post a reply. If anyone else has problems would you let me know?

We are actually in Spring. Mobile is right at the half way point and we can make that in 8 hours with few stops. It is about another 7 hrs from the park we will be stopping at. So we figure with stops it will be about 17 hrs.

I'm excited about Park Fare breakfast now! Thanks for the info!

Good morning everyone!

omg I have 40 DAYS til WDW now!!!

it's been really sunny & warm in England this week, quite unusual (!) - but the nice weather makes me think of Florida & WDW :cool1:

It was payday yesterday for me.. so I'm heading out to the shops today to buy some clothes etc for my vacation, and 'help the economy' by spending

i'll have a look for something lime-green.. altho it's not really my colour :rotfl:

Happy weekend!
