I will be going in July too... July 7 - 21... but we are also doing, SW, Discovery Cove, Universal and Aquatica... will be very very busy two weeks...

Any suggestions for ADRs... this is a first trip to Disney... well i was there when i was 5. My best friend and i are going age... 18 and 17.

My husband was on the phone at 6:30 am CST yesterday, canceling our old reservation and booking the 4/3. We saved $400 dollars, and got "upgraded" I guess you could say, to a pirate room at CBR. I was happy!

So, we've decided to keep our reservation at Pop Century. We've decided to add an extra day to our trip.

The only big decision left to make:

Dining Plan, Deluxe Dining Plan or no dining plan at all.

We love eating at nice places and having sit-down meals, so we're kinda leaning toward the Deluxe, but it's A LOT OF MONEY.

I need opinions from the experts. Anyone??

Hi! We were planning on a July trip, and almost had to cancel because it was just turning out to be too much money. We shortened the trip, changed the dates and flights and got in on the 4/3 deal so our trip is back on!
We will stay 7 nights at the Yacht Club July 18-25(parkhoppers/water and dining plan), then one night at the Poly! We are taking a 4 day carnival cruise after that. I am so happy I could burst!

I have been reading some threads and lots of people talk about how they would never go back in July... i july really that bad... is it just cause its hot... i don't get it... this is a first trip for me... and i couldn't miss school... so july was one of my only options... is this a mistake?

We have ONLY gone in July just for the very same reason...no school! We have loved it each and every time! Just get to the parks early, and swim and cool off later! We carry around little misters and fans and Disney has lots of cooling off stations that we find to be fun. I would never not go because of it being July and so hot. I am sure it is more comfortable at other times of the year, but we don't know anything different. Your trip will be wonderful, just go prepared and with a plan!

We also have to go when school is out and now that DD has band camp in August - that leaves July. Our school does not get out until the second week of June so that further limits our choices.


We went in July a few years ago and did not think it was any hotter or any more crowded than August or June, or especially the week before Easter. We are going back this year in July.
