Hey Nikki...

I just noticed that you have my name down w/ our pic as dolginjuls! haha

I just realized that I did not state where we are staying - we are at the All Stars Music - Family Suites. :)

I love the pictures everyone! :thumbsup2 After looking at all of them, I have come to the conclusion that I really need to put a better picture out there. ::yes:: My kids look really ticked for some reason! :confused3 Maybe I was telling them that we were going to the Hall of Presidents. :rotfl2: (I like it, they don't)

Fixed!

So I was just checking park hours to see if they had extended anything and on July 5th, 7th, 9th and 12th they added a second Fantasmic at 10:30pm, but it says the park closes at 9pm :confused3.
Are these private viewings or something?

Edit: Oh and yay! They extended MK hours! They now have two Spectromagics every night July 3-10 :yay:

thanks for the info cosmic girl. I'm heading over there now to see if there were any changes the second and third week. Do you think it's just a typo with the fantasmic change?

Woo Hoo I love this parade!

What a great Friday! I had my last day of school, so now I can plan more for my trip, and I got my Micky Mail!

Two Weeks to go! Can't wait!:woohoo:

I am so excited!:banana: I have seriously been looking into an illuminations cruise to surprise the family... I just need to get it over with and call to see if something is available?

Where do I go to check park hours and Fantasmic showings?

OH yeah, we have less than 30 days to go!

Would anyone here be interested in two tickets to see the Space Shuttle launch on the 11th from the closest accessible viewing area?
I've been looking for tickets on the web and they seem to come in packages of 4 rather than the 2 we need. Prices range from about $75 to $100+ per person and include admission to the KSC visitor complex on launch day as well as admission and transportation to the special viewing site. I do have to mention that carpooling will be necessary, unless you can get additional tickets. This is because there's only one "car admission" ticket included in the package.

Regarding possible delays: the tickets are launch (rather than date) specific, so they will remain valid for Endeavour's STS-127 mission. On every launch attempt day (let's hope the 11th is the last one they need) you get admission to the visitor complex (the regular park), plus you can visit one additional day within 7 days of the launch.

Sorry about the late reply Nikki, here's a picture with both of us in it.

Two updates for our ADRs, we're no longer doing CRT on July 10th or WCC on July 16th, but we've added Le Cellier on the 16th at 5:05pm. Can't believe we got Le Cellier supper reservations! I lucked out using the online ADR system, which I completely love btw!

Cool! Thanks for the info. For FDP, would we have to go to the first show?

That is a good question and I do not have the answer. I also agree that it is funny that they have added the second show but the park still closes 1 1/2 hours before the show. I am guessing that they just failed to update the park closing time when they added the second show. Lois

I changed your ADRs and added your picture. Can I just have your dates and resort please?

A previous poster (either on this thread or on another) stated awhile back that DHS would be closing early due to McDonald's reserving the park. Is this something that WDW usually does, closing the parks? :confused3 Has anyone else heard of this?

Oops, lol! We're going to be staying at the Best Western Lakeside from July 5th-9th, then at Pop Century from July 9th - 29th, then back to Best Western Lakeside from July 29th - 31st. I swear this trip keeps getting longer and longer and longer! :rotfl:

Wow! You should just go ahead and add July 1st - 4th! :rotfl2: I can't imagine being gone for almost a month! How do you do it?

Good Lord! That's a long vacation. What are you going to DO for all that time?! :confused3

We did 21 full days last year and it was the best vacation ever. It was one week at WDW and 14 days on the magic. I would love to do it again. Lois

PS I will try to get the list updated soon. I know I have a number of newcomers to add. Lois

I was just putting together an itinerary yesterday, with park hours at the top, and 4 out of the 6 nights we're going to be there (19-25) DHS closes at 7. I don't think that's all because someone rented out the park. I think they are probably doing it to save money.

I think you are right it is to save money and may also reflect the lower crowds. If there are fewer people they do not keep the parks open as long so there will be more people in the park but for shorter hours. clear as mud! Lois
