OMG! We leave tomorrow. I have nothing in suitcases yet, I'm still doing laundry. Hopefully my piles of clothes will easily be made into neat and tidy folded suitcases. Everyone must be busy packing, the board has certainly slowed down. I hope everyone gets done what needs to be before they leave. That includes me.

I've been trying for 2 weeks to get an earlier brkfst time at Tuskerhouse and I was just able to get. Yes, 1 day before we leave. It just goes to show you that persistance pays off!

Yea!! I like to see those 8s instead of 9s. Too bad we won't be there on Sunday, July 26. Unfortunately, something has come up at church and instead of driving home on Sunday, 7/26, we now have to leave the night of 7/25 and drive home so I can be at church on the 26th. I'm sad! The 25th is our last water park/DTD day, so at least we're not going to lose part of a park day....but still....I don't want to come home a minute earlier than originally planned! :guilty:

Yeah, same here. DDs both picked out all of their clothes and DD10 laid them out in the living room (instead of putting them in her suitcase). Of course the dogs (who aren't supposed to be unattended in the living room) got into them, so late last night when I got home her clothes were spread all over the room. Oh well...I have got to do my packing tonight. It will be hard because I have a dance class tonight (yes, I take dance classes) and I can't miss the class, so tonight is going to be busy, busy, busy.

I've been trying for 2 weeks to get an earlier brkfst time at Tuskerhouse and I was just able to get. Yes, 1 day before we leave. It just goes to show you that persistance pays off!

YEA!!! I have been trying to get a T-Rex reservation but we might just be brave and try to get that one as a walk-up on one of our non-park days.

Tomorrow! We leave tomorrow! In approximately 28 hours we'll be on our way to WDW!! :cool1:

I'm so excited but so stressed...I still haven't finished my LGMHs or nametags to put on our park bag, still haven't figured out which bag will be the park bag (DH insists that it be a "manly" backpack and apparently DD's blue and green polka dotted backpack from last school year isn't "manly" enough), haven't packed a darn thing, haven't cleaned the house, haven't done grocery shopping for the housesitter....I'm stressing!

I kept meaning to get RideMax and do a bunch of variations on our touring plans -- particularly for Saturday since my Dad and DH now want to ride rides instead of walking through WS -- but I just haven't been able to do that and now I don't have time.

And just to show how ready I am to "escape reality" and start my vacation, instead of working on packing last night I went to see Harry Potter 6 with my best friend! :)

I'm so jealous. The kids and I really want to see it, but it's tradition for my whole family (sisters, bil and parents) to go see it together. This will be the first HP movie without my dad, lost him last november. Bittersweet. I think we might all be putting it off because of that.

The packing stress is still with me also. I'm trying to do 15 things in a few small hours this evening!

OOOOooooh we saw it too!! Soooo good! :thumbsup2

I saw it last night and it was awesome!

In 24 hours i'll be at the Poly! :cool1: the first thing i want to do when i get there is get a lapu lapu but i dont think thats such a good idea being that it'll be 11am when we get there lol.

I just said goodbye to DW & DW. I'll see them again in 10 days....IN DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Ok, actually in the Orlando airport, but you know what I mean.

DS5 is packed and waiting for his ride.

DW's sister is driving them down to LA today. They'll spend this afternoon at the beach, spend the night at a friend's house, then fly out to Buffalo tomorrow at 11:05am.

I am still working on it too. But, I do have a couple of days left. :goodvibes

Did it end good? I hate seeing movies that end sad/bad.

He's so cute. I wish I was ready and waiting.

I thought the end was incredibly powerful. It didn't end the way I expected, but in a way I'm glad that it didn't show something that I wasn't looking forward to seeing because I knew I would cry through it, LOL. The ending of Book 6 was sad, and so the movie had to be true to that. But it did close on a really lovely "we're friends and we're in this together" scene (sorry if that's a spoiler!). The cinematography and look of the entire movie (particularly Hogwarts) was totally different to me than in previous films -- Hogwarts just looked totally different in this movie -- it didn't look as magical or whimsical, which made me a little sad. This movie seemed much more light-hearted in general (I laughed a lot in this one) until the last 20 minutes or so...and I think that made the ending so much more powerful -- the juxtaposition of a very dramatic climax and ending against the rest of the film which had a lighter feeling to it. There were several dramatic scenes and events throughout (particularly in the beginning and a couple of points in the middle, including a scene that isn't in the book), but for the most part the movie is fairly lighthearted until the last 20 minutes -- and then it's just sudden and dramatic and intense and it really caught me off guard, even though I knew what was going to happen. Seeing it on screen really made it more real and intense to me. I thought the actor playing Draco did a great job in this movie.

Does that make any sense? LOL I really enjoyed the movie but, for me, this is a movie that I think I will watch a few times before I fully appreciate it. It's not my favorite of the six movies, but it was really good.

Okay, I have spent the last two days on the road finishing up all the final errands. Both kids have had their teeth cleaned and been to the orthodontist, extra dog and cat food has been bought, snacks for on the road have been bought. Still have to pack all the kids clothes and toiletries (sp?) and all the misc. items then figure out the best way to put it all in the vehicle. Oh yeah, and me and dd need to paint our Mickey toes. Waiting till the very last on that one so they will stay on longer. ;) The plan was to try and leave around the 3am hour on Sat. but now dh has decided to take off work tomorrow and that means we will be leaving before midnight knowing him! We have our first night at the Pop so no park tickets for Sat. We thought after the long drive we could just resort hop, visit downtown disney, and let the kids swim. Sun. we check out of Pop and head over to WL where the real fun begins!! :goodvibes I can't believe we are this close!!!!!

Howdy fellow Tennesseean. We head out Saturday Morning also. We'll be at the CSR.
I've been half tempted to start a Midnight. But my age is starting to catch up with me...so I better stick with the plan of 4am.

We have Saturday penned in for DTD also...and checking out our resort. :thumbsup2

Y'all have fun.
