And can someone tell me how to do multi-quote?

The button right next to the quote button, click that on the all the posts you want to quote. It will turn orange so you know that it will end up in your post. Then hit the regular button to post a reply and all the posts you clicked will be in your reply.

OR you could do all that and hit "quote" of the last post you want to quote and they will all be in your reply. If that's too confusing, just do what I said above.

Good Morning all!
What a long weekend, DD9 has now completed National Dance Finals, Elite Top First trophies in both dances! Yea, now all the money we spend on her feet doesn't seem wasted! ;)
I hope everyone is feeling better that was not and I'm ready to hear about those trips. You all jumped ahead 10+ pages while I was cheering my kid on!
This is gonna be one long week. Or the days are going to be long, the evenings when I'm trying to pack and get organized will fly by!
Toe-nails: they now have pens at Wal-Mart for nail art! They're expensive (I think), but easier than free hand. However, when I tried to do Mickey heads on my toes, my mother thought I had weird shaped bruises. So much for my art work. That's what happens when you get a art teacher for a mother. Talent must skip a generation.

My family has come down with a bug as well. Stuffy/runny nose, sore throat with a cough. Then, today at lunch with my whole family I find out that a stomach virus is going around. So, now I am not only praying that we get over this cold but also keep from getting the stomach bug as well... It would be just awful if we are sick or get sick on vacation at WDW!

I hope you feel better soon! Sounds like we all need some pixie dust! :wizard::wizard:

I need some pixie dust! My husband has a broken ankle and will be on crutches for our trip! Should be interesting....

That stinks.:headache: I would definitely get him a wheelchair or scooter. He will be miserable trying to do all that walking with crutches.
pixiedust:Hope you have a magical trip anyway.

He's really stubborn and refuses to sit in a wheelchair or scooter. I've given up trying to convince him.

We'll just have to make the best of it. Our only other option was to wait till spring break and that is just too far away!

We leave tomorrow for 8 days at POFQ.:yay: Me, DH, DD14 and DD9. Using mileage and flying on United from Washington Dulles nonstop to Orlando. Haven't stayed at POFQ before but I've read so many great reviews so I'm sure we'll be happy. I have so much to do today, but I'm so excited I don't know how I'm going to get it done! What's your best "day before leaving" advice?

Oh NO  Sending pixie dust and well wishes your way!! Maybe after using his crutches a day or two he will change his mind about using a scooter or wheelchair.

For those who have returned I hope your trips were magical :goodvibes give us the details!!

hahaha I'm an art teacher.

Talent does not skip a generation. Everyone has it. You just need practice. I my skills have improved with the years. If you had seen what I did as paintings in college, you wouldn't think it was done by the same person. :)

I would def. get a weelchair or something.

Of you can leave him at the hotel, or give him a piggy back ride :rotfl:

Don't leave anything to do for the last day.

Take that last day to try and nap and relax. Order from a restaurant :) Only leave last-minute items like make-up on top of the suitcase, to try and remember to put them in your luggage once you're done.

I hope this can help.

Yikes! I think he'll quickly give up on the crutches...I was on crutches for Black Friday one year (severe high ankle sprain -- it would have been better if I had broken it!), and even Target at 6 a.m. on Black Friday is nothing compared to Disney in July...his arms will get so sore! Give him a day and I bet he'll be willing to use a scooter or wheelchair!

How did he break his ankle?

Congrats to your daughter!!

Four days and I have so much to get done! I had big plans for this weekend and didn't get anything accomplished, other than buying some snacks to take with us. I was going to get my park planner done, but that didn't happen. I did work on our 2007 Disney scrapbook so that's closer to being finished, but at this point in time I think I have to give up on having it complete before we leave on Friday. I'm such a procrastinator!

We have a house to finish cleaning (DH and the girls are home all day, except for tomorrow and Wednesday when DD14 will be gone all day)...laundry to do, packing to do (everyone will do their own and I'll just check it on Thursday), groceries to buy, and touring plans to print out. I'm still debating on RideMax. DH just informed me last night that he thinks my Dad might prefer doing more rides and splitting up on the one day they're in the parks with us...Saturday, which we had planned for EPCOT since that's where my Mom wants to go. So now I need to run two sets of plans -- one for all day at EPCOT, and one for me and Mom at EPCOT all day and everyone at EPCOT in the morning and somewhere (DHS?) in the afternoon. *Sigh*

SO much to do...

FYI -- I'm cancelling two of our ADRs right now, in case anyone wants them...Sorry to ask you to update the list again, Nikki! We just decided that two ADRs on the same day is just too much food for us.

I'm cancelling 50s PTC on Tuesday, July 21, 11:10 am, and Coral Reef on Friday, July 24 at 6:10 pm.

I keep telling myself to quit freaking out. Disney will be there, whether I forget something or not. It will be okay if we don't ride everything twelve times. In fact we may not ride some rides at all. And that's OK!
My kids will get to see the mouse and in the end everyone will be glad we got to go.
That's as inspirational as I can get this morning.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Piggy back ride!! I love it.

How did he break his ankle?

He broke his ankle back in March, skiing. He has been on crutches ever since. Unfortunately, it is not mending as it should. He has had surgery, but now they say he has a 50/50 chance of having to have it amputated.:scared1:

We see they doc when we get back from Disney. I'm still hoping for some pixie dust to come our way!:tinker:

Don't mean to complain too much, but I broke my toe last week. At least I'm walking though.
