and tried to avoid it but it hit my front passenger side and tore it to pieces!! Bumpers torn in half, headlight is gone and my front fender is buckled, plus I think it bent the tie rod because I drove it the mile home after the police did their report and it didn't drive right at all. It was towed to the shop yesterday!

I have about 22 hours until I leave and the boys still think we are going to the beach!! We have decided to stop at the rest area on the turnpike and give them a note I made saying "Surprise, we are going to Disney World right now!!" We were just going to wait until we went under the arch and they realized where we were but decided that this way we can be sure to have the video camera running for their reaction!!
Please pray that my trip will go better than my week has so far! On Monday the A/C in the house starting acting up. Wouldn't get below 84 in here. Finally got a repairman on Wednesday morning. That cost $200 we hadn't planned on.
Then the really weird one was Wednesday evening. I picked my 14 yr old DS up from football camp at the high school and as I'm driving home all of the sudden a van about 4 car lengths in front of me starts swerving. After he gets moved over all I see is a tire rolling straight at me at a high rate of speed!!!
Anyway, I swerved
This was the car we were supposed to be driving to Disney! Now we have a $250 deuctible to pay plus we will have to take my DH's monster of a truck! Its a nice truck but so long that I get nervous about driving it. Its a long bed, crew cab diesel F250!! There goes the gas budget for the trip too. Instead of the 30 mpg my cars gets we are looking at maybe 17??
The police and I found the tire that hit me. It was a complete wheel and tire!! No wonder it hit so hard! The police believe that it probably had fallen off a trailer or something and was laying in the road and the semi truck that was 2 cars ahead of me had probably hit it and made it stand up and start rolling because the wheel was bent. I wasn't as scared as I was mad about my car until the police pointed something out to me. He said to be glad that I swerved as far as I did and almost missed it because if it had hit the center of my bumper it could very well have come through the windshield and killed one or both of us!!!
I must have hugged my son 20 times that night!! Thank goodness no one was hurt but it sure put a wrench in my plans!! My DS14 flew back to see his Dad yesterday. He made it just fine, but I was worried after all the bad luck this week!
Things have to get better........right??? right???
Don't sweat all the little stuff too much because I promise you if some of it doesn't get done - no one will be the wiser. Enjoy every minute of your wedding. Congratulations and wishes for a long and happy marriage from me and my familyI'll be single digit dancing tomorrow night...if I even have the energy to dance! I've been nonstop running around for this wedding, there are SOO many little things to do that you really have no idea until you have to do them! I feel like I'm not giving as much attention to my trip as I normally would have. Did I say that already yesterday? I feel like I'm losing my mind!!!
I still have to update the park hours on my itinerary, pick out and pack my outfits and print magnets for the cruise portion of the trip. I just can't wait to RELAX!!
He is now on antibiotics for 10 days and will still be taking them when we leave. Now I am worried sick that DD will end up with this close to time to leave.

My doctor isn't antibiotic crazy in fact , he rarely prescribes them but when it comes to strep everyone gets a script because it is usually a given if one has it everyone does. Also Docs are really jumping on the bandwagon for giving script for strep because if left untreated it can cause heart problems. Call your doc tell the your are going on vacation and request another prescription.Yeah my house is clean - Not as clean as flipflopmom's but clean none the less - This is my day for insane errand running like you so I need to get my butt off of here and get busy but I just can't seem too.Well, it is 2:00am. I am stick wide awake. I went to Target with DD21 and I got a latte (and coffee cake) at Starbucks. It wasn't until I was about 3 sips from the last that I realized that I hadn't asked for DECAF!!! OMG... I will be up ALL night. UGH!!
I've just paid DD21 the nearly $800 that I owe her that has accumulated over the last few months. She will often pick up groceries or buy stuff for me at Target with her employee discount, and charge it. Then I pay her back. But she has to present the bill with all the receipts in an organized manner. Which is why it takes her 6 months to get them to me. She loses receipts big time, and we won't pay it unless it is obvious. That is supposed to teach her to keep better track of her finances.
We are now officially leaving tomorrow.
I really envy you folks who have super clean houses. My house (except for my newly organized closet) looks like a tornado touched down. We have looked all over and can't find the charger for my camera!! I can charge it with the base, but I can't charge the extra battery. The camera has to be 'busy" in the base, so its not my preferred way to charge. Oh.. and DH said that he still can't find the spare key fob for my van. So in addition to going to AC Moore, AAA, the Chiropractor, battery warehouse (Disney watches need new batteries), I have to go to the Chevy dealer and get another key. He rightly, doesn't want to set out for vacation with only one of us having a key to the van.
Nikki, I have added an ADR. I tried the online method and once I found it, it worked great. Even linked it with my room reservations. We're at Rainforest in DTD on Friday the 17th at 1:00pm for lunch. I'm meeting my cousin for dinner on Saturday the 18th, but we haven't decided where yet.
