I don't know if the Brazilian groups only come to WDW at certain times or not, but we did see quite a few of them during Christmas one trip. So, I don't think that July is a particularly "bad" time. Just keep in mind that even though they're VERY obnoxious, you're in the "Happiest Place on Earth" and the percentage of them are small compared to everyone else there. You'll have a great time whether they're there or not!! We did!!

I don't know what their timing is...we went in January over MLK weekend and they were OBNOXIOUS. They were like ants at a picnic. All over the place. Seemed especially bad at Epcot. We would see them coming and we would start running as far ahead of them as we could get! The que line at TT is loud enough already but once they start their cheering & singing & yelling...

Meanwhile, just watching to see if any AP codes pop out for AKV or AKL for July. We already have a DVC cash ressie at AKV but a 40% AP code would beat it!

It listed moderates for $154 weekend & $134 week nights & said to call about other resorts. We did & now we're staying in a courtyard view room at WL for $219 after the value season starts on 7/20/08. Hip, Hip, Hooray!

Oh come on. It just keeps getiing worse. I am going down during the code time with out a code. I am staying at POFQ for 161plus tax(AAArate) but i am during the week and could be paying 134$ I want that code

Someone told me to go to the disney.com website & do stuff like update your itinerary & there's some test drive your vacation thing, too - anything that requires you to input your email addy. My sister (who's going w/) & I both logged on faithfully. I got a code via mail for spring dates, & she got one yesterday via email. Good luck!

No thankfully they were at another Disney Resort. POFQ was quiet compared to the South Americans. I think they come from other South American Countries too, while we were at Fantasmic they started chanting their country's names.

I'm so sad I didn't get a code either, and we will be going July 18-27th saying at the AKL, I could realy use a code.

I just called the disney res. line and told the cm my name and phone # and told her that there was tolk of a code or pin# for the summer season and she asked me to hold and checked to see if there was a code attached to my name or email. we are going to AS Movies 6/21-6/29; there was a code attached for that resort for $104.00/night. She said that she did not have any more rooms for that week at a discount. we booked through AAA and our room is $109.00/night. It sounds like if you have been on the Disney website and registered to plan a vacation with your email address, that they may offer you a discount. Just call reservation and check- i was never given a code and the cm was surprised. the dates for the code is 5/31-8/2

my ta just called me. i did get the pin code, she has called 3 different disney reps so far. the first 2 had no idea about a pin offered during my time. the third said well, i can apply the pin, but then she can't have the free dining...i'm going in july. when asked if i was eligible for free dining, she said, oh sorry no, i meant she coudn't have her photopass with this pin code (then apologized for the confusion and said she just got new glasses). i'll give up the 15.00 picture to save 225.00 at por. she is calling back again right now. i'll update once i hear back....update, all is taken care of, she called and got someone very nice who knew what she was talking about. code is attached and i still get my free photopass picture. when asked if i would have to give up my photopass, the cm just laughed and said no, where did you hear that from? i worked in a call center for years...shouldn't there be some kind of uniform training?

So, in a desperate attempt to get this code, I went to Disney's web site and did the guided tour or whatever it's called where you get to enter you e-mail address in again at the end of the thing, and today I saw that I had a "Thank You" e-mail from Disney Destinations. Well, I was certainly pumped and looking forward to my code . . . only to find out that my thanks was free disney letterhead I could print out! I want my code!

i FIGURED IT OUT. gO TO WWW.DISNEY.COM THEN CLICK ON THE TRAVEL TAB. aFTER YOU DO THAT, GO DOWN AND LOOK AT THE BOTTOM LEFT HAND SIDE, YOU WILL SEE TAKE A TEST DRIVE....
