Hello fellow July DISers! This is a thread to give you usefull information about you upcoming July stay at the World. Feel free to post any usefull information you want. I'll start out!

Me and my family will be staying at the Grand Floridian on July 20-25.​

I've also heard that the Haunted Mansion, and Spaceship Earth, will be closed during July. BUUUMMEERRR!​

You can post things like park information, info on your ADR's and resorts, airline prices and enything else JULY!

I am bummed about HM and SE. Didn't know about M:S, but we were not planning on riding it any way.

I am excited to do Soarin' and the new Living Seas ride/show.

According to disneyworld.com, for July, this is the operational update:

Body Wars: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed July 21, 2007
Spaceship Earth: Closed for Refurbishment July 21, 2007
Cranium Command: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed July 21, 2007
The Making of Me: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed July 21, 2007

No mention of Mission:Space.

As of 8:00pm EST on Sunday 5/27 these are the rides that'll be down according the official WDW site:

Body Wars: Operates Seasonally; Temporarily Closed [July 1, 2007 to July 31, 2007]

Spaceship Earth: Closed for Refurbishment [July 9, 2007 to July 31, 2007]

I sure hope M:E won't be under refurb, too!

But back to the whole point of this thread... we'll be there from July 14-28! Can't wait!

I heard about Misson Space being closed from my mom, ill ask her about it and where she heard this from. I really hope you guys are right. I have never been on the ride, I always chickened out! I was hoping for this to be my first ride.

I do not believe Mission Space will be closed. Spaceship Earth is probably what you mean.

We'll be there for 8 nights in July, so I've been paying lots of attention to closures and such.

I think you guys are right! I can't find anything that says Mission:SPACE will be closed either. I'll have to go yell at my mom. I think she told me that so I wouldn't ask to go on it. It is the only ride in the world she is deathly afraid of, because of the people "dying" on it. Figures

Will be there July 13th to July 17th at Grand Floridian, would prefer to stay at polynesian in building Hawaii if anyone knows of an opening.

We will be there July 27-July 31 for a quick trip-staying at CBR!

Quick and last minute trip due to my dd qualifying for the AAU National Track & Field competition.

July 2nd - 7th at CBR - first time staying here. (Could not get into any dvc resorts - last minute, holiday).

Won't tell you what I paid for my airfare.

We are having a meeting on Tuesday and I am hoping to be brave enough to see if a parent who will be driving or will have a rental can pick up a case of water for us (dd and me). I don't think it's worth having gardengrocer deliver a bunch of items just for water.

The heat is not anything. I agree about the water part though. I work for the military and am in the middle east. It will be about 145 degrees before i leave here on the 11th to arrive i disney on the 12th but.........it'll be a blast. Anyone up for drinks night of the 12th at PI. gotta celebrate being free.
