Official Jollywood Nights 2025

A couple years ago I flew in and did the party the same night and did a park the next day...I was exhausted. I live in Canada but drove to Detroit early that am and flew out of Detroit. So i will not do the party the day I fly in. This year I am flying in and doing Jollywood Nights the next day and then MVMCP the next. Because I can sleep in I think it will be fine to do those 2 in a row

Ideally we would have liked to fly in the day before but unfortunately we cannot due to work obligations.

I was thinking the same thing! I was actually looking for this thread the other day and couldn't find it!

Maybe y'all want to help me decide if I'm crazy or not.

DD and I are flying down on 12/9 and are considering doing MVMCP that night since DD doesn't have an AP and we can get into MK at 4 without it. So the plan would be to fly in, head to the resort, pray our room is ready a little early so we can rest then head to MK.

What might make me crazy is that I'm wondering if we should go to Jollywood the following night since we will likely be out late on 12/9 and could just sleep in a little that day? Then I could get DD a 4-day ticket for the remaining days we are there.

So is it crazy to do back to back parties on nights 1 & 2?
My biggest recommendation is to look at your flight time and back up what time you will need to get up to catch your flight? People often forget to take into consideration that an 8 AM flight doesn’t sound bad at all until they back things up taking into consideration wake up time, travel to airport, wait before flight, etc. Also, how do you sleep the night before you fly? My sleep is rough when I know I have an early flight to wake up to catch.

You may be just fine but it’s something I recommend you look at when deciding if a party on arrival night is a good choice for you.

The not sleeping well the night before my flight is a real problem!

I may have to reconsider the first night. I haven't gotten the tickets yet for either but I would like to soon which is why I'm making myself crazy deciding this!

My husband and I went last year and had the best time. It is one of the best special ticketed events we have ever done. We have a trip planned with our adults kids and granddaughter over Christmas this year. I secured tickets as soon as they announced it. We will be going December 17th.

With travel time, flying time and more travel time. I was up and doing stuff 12 before going the early entry for the MVMCP party started. Really think hard before you do a Party on arrival day.

FWIW, my daughter and I did this several years ago, except it was an Orlando Informer meetup the first night and MVMCP the second night. We are both night owls, but that ended up being one of my least favorite trips, because we started it off exhausted and never really got in the groove after that. It was probably worse because the meetup goes until 1:30am, but we won't do that again. In fact, for this year's trip I was about to book Jollywood Nights the second night and MVMCP the third night, which may have been fine since it didn't include our first night there, but I decided to spread them out just in case.

Thanks to everyone for the input!

I think I've decided to not go to a party the first night since our flight (for now) is really early. I think we'll do Jollywood on our second night 12/10 and MVMCP on 12/11. I still like the idea of back to back parties since I think we would be able to sleep in after the first one which should help us stay awake later for the second...we are not naturally night owls!

This is what we're planning to do on the same nights! We will probably have a nice late breakfast/lunch and rest some before the party on 12/11.

We don't have much of a choice based on our travel dates - our first time to Jollywood and it will be on arrival day. I've done very long Disney days in the past, and we'll power through...for some reason, the adrenaline from just being at Disney is enough. We'll collapse at the end of the night, I'm sure, but then we always get by on little sleep to maximize our Disney fun.

I think all my trips to Vegas and staying up until 3am helped train my body!!
