We made it home last night and everyone was exhausted! Lol. 100,000+ steps in a week was really insane!
Before our flight yesterday, we had breakfast at Topolinos inside Riviera Resort and it was amazing. Everything we tried was filled with flavor that is unique to the restaurant. And seeing all the characters in their French Riviera art costumes was so fun. All 4 characters came out twice together and once individually, so lots of fun picture opportunities. For the most part, they all stopped so you could take selfies with them in the background. If you were taking a video and they stopped for a picture, you can give them a thumbs up and they'll go back to doing their thing.
The airports we went through on the way home were fairly empty. The TSA wait list at MCO said 5-10 minute wait at 11am, but no one was in front of us when we got there, so it was straight to the bins and x-ray scanners. The train to the gates we rode had about 4 parties in the 3 cars. The plane, however, was nearly full with most middle seats empty. This plane had 50 rows, so was bigger. We connected in Detroit. First time I'd ever been through there. It was empty, hardly anyone anywhere. The plane out had 18 rows and was probably half full or less. And our home airport had very few people when we landed. Our luggage was already waiting for us by the time we arrived at luggage claim.
The only travel mistake I made was not filling up the rental car before going back to the airport.

. Just slipped my mind after the amazing breakfast. Of all the overly inflated priced things I did all week, that'll be the one I regret the most, lol. Oh well, I still managed to stick to what I had budgeted for all the dinners and souvenirs, though I did use cash for all my tips rather than adding to the credit card so that helped some.
This trip was a ton of fun and I'm glad I went, but being back home, working from my home office, sitting in a chair, not wearing a mask is a beautiful thing! Lol. For the most part, masks weren't an issue for us while there. The cooler temps and lack of humidity definitely helped.
I hope the rest of you all have an enjoyable time on your upcoming trips.
