Official January 2015 Thread!!!

I booked my trip for Jan 9-17 at the Polynesian this morning and am a mix of nerves and excitement. We don't usually spend so much for our trips but hoping to apply a discount in October once they come out and also really wanted to stay on the monorail this trip with two young kids (be at MK a lot I think). If I'm able to apply a discount in October and the construction at the Poly is mostly done by then I believe this will be a great trip. I have ADR's lined up although disappointed CRT is not available then and I have not been able to get BOG yet.

Still, it's booked and we are going so can't complain too much!

If all goes according to plan, we will be there Jan. 1 thru 6th. My kids should have to miss only one day of school.
On Christmas morning, the kids will find a DVD under the tree, marked only with "Play Me." It will feature a very clever (if I do say so myself) video message revealing where we will all be in one week. The musical tracks on the DVD include a clip of dada's 90's hit song, "Diz Knee Land." Yeah, I know we're going to the World, not the Land (also taking in Epcot, HS, and maybe AK) but I couldn't help myself. Can't wait to see their faces!
DD already has a BBB appointment on the 2nd, before MK opens. DS will get a Lego shopping spree of equal value in DTD. And we're all scheduled to have breakfast with the princesses at Akershus on the 3rd.
Just waiting on the 2015 packages so we can book our room (hoping for POR) and Southwest Airlines to open their booking schedule beyond 1/4.
This will be SO EPIC... CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!

Former member of the February thread, but now a part of the January crew. Can't wait to get home tonight and actually put some money down on the package and get the rest of the ADR's done (day-by-day has been a bit of a pain).

I have managed to talk my husband into another night and the dining plan! We haven't looked to see if we'll do the dining plan yet, but he's game for it if I choose to do so!

Count us in! My DS and I will be there Jan 4-11 staying at CSR! We are very excited and are anxiously awaiting Nov 5 so we can start booking FP+!!! Woot!

Joining in! We are going Jan 21-27, split stay at SSR and BLT. Really excited about BLT - we saved a bunch on our flights and decided to spend it on a 2 night upgrade to BLT theme park view. Wishes is DS9's favourite thing about Disney so having a chance to see them in a different way will be awesome!

It will be DS#3 first trip, and DS#1 &2, know the trip will happen sometime before Sept 2015 but the trip will be there Christmas present. Any gifts to give them as clues would be appreciated.

These were our original dates but southwest only had a 9pm nonstop flight out on Sunday so we bumped our dates up a day.
